Seeing is Believing

Corporation Name: Mirage Engineering Systems (Mirage)
Headquarters: Kuat
Locations: Showrooms in Kuat (Biggest), Mandalore and Concordia, a Coruscant outlet is planned.
Operations: Mirage was a defunct shipworks and vehicle manufacturing firm which collapsed due to low demand, despite having massive publicity hype. As the production models were rather disappointing compared to their prototypes.
Rationale: Buying manufacturing rights (Topic will be made).
Tier: 2
Description:

Mirage used to be a producer of not only luxury ships and vehicles, (exports which Kuat were famous for) and was a manufacturer with a lot of hype back then. Promising to offer state of the art transports with cutting-edge technology and some of the most beautiful speeders in the galaxy. Beauty was really one of the Mirage brand's key features which brought along the name, something too beautiful to be real. And they took the slogan "Seeing is Believing." The publicity hype was massive, people flocked in at the showrooms when they unveiled their first concept vehicle, a luxury superspeeder designed for the rich who enjoyed having state of the art technology, power and bespoke design in a well-rounded package.

However, the company was hyped up far too quickly, and in the end they count not produce the models they had desired to make, which left potential buyers disappointed as the production models of their vehicles and ships were nothing alike to the prototypes.

With no customer demand to fall back on, the owners pulled the plug on Mirage, having sold only a handful of vehicles. But, with the desire for ArmTech to expand, they were interesting in acquiring the Mirage mark for production of luxury and military ships and vehicles.
