- Pelko Bug Venom: Simulates the burning sensation of grazing lightsaber wounds when applied to the skin, as well as temporary, localized numbness in the effected limb to simulate the loss of that limb.
- Double-Bladed Training Saber. This training saber is ideal for teaching young Sith how to properly handle a double-bladed lightsaber and screw it up without actually cutting themselves in half.
- Dull Blades. The ends of this polearm are not sharpened in order to promote a safe training environment in which only blunt force trauma is at play.
- Non-Lethal. The pelko bug venom effectively simulates lightsaber wounds in a completely non-lethal manner. Actual effects of this weapons/venom applied to another player character are entirely the choice of that writer. This sub does nothing other than to provide flavor through the inclusion of a traditional Sith training instrument.
The self-described "Slap a Bith" Sith Smacking Stick carried by the Cathar badawan, Micah, in 853 ABY was, in point of fact, a traditional Sith Training Saber issued as part of his training at the Sith Academy. Styled along the lines of a double-bladed sword, the training saber closely approximated the handling required for wielding a double-bladed lightsaber. The durasteel blades were intentionally dulled to promote non-lethal training scenarios. The ends were coated in pelko bug venom, which caused skin irritation and temporary numbness of the limbs to simulate the experience of lightsaber-inflicted wounds.
