Description: After brokering a deal with a member of the Chiss Ascendancy, Coren Starchaser returned to Sullust with a cargohold full of new weapons, including two types of maser technology weapons. Masers, a staple of the Chiss military, are a bit different than the standard blaster technology, was hoping to change the way the Alliance fought. The MF-9 Scatter Gun is a short ranged weapon, with a very effective range between 3 and 15 meters, with the nature of a scatter shot losing the accuracy beyond 20 and losing effective range beyond. As with the nature of a maser weapon, energy damge is done with the added effectiveness of a kinetic shot, making this weapon very destructive.
