Intent: To write a Major Criminal in the Ferra Sector

Permissions: Myself, the All Powerful Trade

PHYSICAL INFORMATION
Age: Early 40s
Species: Chagrian
Appearance: Mezzo Torvix is an imposing figure, not through bulk, but through the sheer gravity of his presence. His skin is a pale, fleshy blue, typical of his species, and is marked by the faint, silver traceries of old scars along his brow and cranial horns. His two primary cranial horns are tall and swept back, adorned with simple, electrum rings denoting his years of service in the Imperial bureaucracy. The smaller, sensory horns (lethorns) that hang from his cheeks twitch subtly, betraying his thoughts to those who know how to read them.

SOCIAL INFORMATION
Name: Mezzo Torvix - The Spice Magistrate
Affiliations: Self-proclaimed Sector Governor, various Spice Cartels ( as a controlling authority ), a handful of former Black Sun Vigos now serving as his lieutenants.
Wealth: Extravagant. Torvix now controls the lion's share of spice production, taxation, and smuggling routes in the Ferra Sector, a position that generates an inconceivable personal fortune.

SKILLS
  • Logistical Mastery: Torvix possesses a genius for logistics. He can visualize and manipulate the flow of goods, credits, and information across a sector-wide scale, identifying inefficiencies and bottlenecks with preternatural speed.
  • Economic Warfare: He understands that a well-timed tariff, a sudden glut of a specific spice, or the strategic "loss" of a rival's shipment is often more devastating than a fleet action.
  • Bureaucratic Knife-Fighting: His years as a magistrate honed his ability to navigate, exploit, and strangle opponents within complex systems of law, trade agreements, and red tape.
PERSONALITY

Mezzo Torvix is the embodiment of ordered greed. He is not a cruel man for the sake of cruelty, but he is utterly ruthless in the pursuit of efficiency and control. He views the galaxy as a vast, messy balance sheet, and his life's work is to bring every last line item into the black. He speaks in a soft, measured tone, rarely raising his voice, which makes his words carry immense weight.

He despises waste of resources, of time, of lives. He sees the anarchy of the post-Imperial power vacuum not as chaos, but as an opportunity for a hostile takeover. To the terrified populace of the Ferra Sector, he is a necessary evil; he provides order and stability where there was none, but it is an order paid for with the sweat and addiction of millions. He is genuinely convinced that his control is the best possible outcome for the sector, a belief that makes him both predictable and profoundly dangerous.

COMBAT INFORMATION
  • Weaponry: A custom-manufactured DR-23 heavy blaster pistol, more a symbol of office than a primary tool, and a discreet, vibro-bladed letter opener hidden in his sleeve—a relic from his bureaucratic days used for "close personal audits."
  • Combat Style: Torvix is not a warrior. He fights exclusively through proxy. He will have guards, former Black Sun enforcers now on his payroll, and an intricate web of favors and debts to call upon. If personally cornered, he will stall, negotiate, and offer his attacker a better deal than whoever sent them, all while subtly maneuvering for an escape. Direct confrontation is a failure of his primary skills.
HISTORY

For decades, Mezzo Torvix was the Spice Magistrate for the Ferra Sector, a mid-level bureaucrat tasked with overseeing the legal quotas and taxation of medicinal and industrial spice production for the Black Sun Syndicate. He was efficient, overlooked, and utterly indispensable to the system's smooth function. While the Black Sun Syndicate ran the illegal trade with violence and flair, Torvix ran the legal trade with ledgers and stamps. He knew every legitimate shipping lane, every licensed refinery, and every planetary governor who skimmed from the top.

Within a standard year, the Black Sun was no longer a power in the Ferra Sector. In its place stood Mezzo Torvix, who declared himself Sector Governor, with a government built on the backs of the cartels he now controlled. The spice still flows, the ships still fly, and the peace is kept all under the cold, watchful eye of the Magistrate Mezzo Torvix.
