DESCRIPTION

The Bank of the Mid Rim is a financial banking corporation modeled after the Bank of the Core and the Bank of Aargau. It was originally a subsidiary of the InterGalactic Banking Clan until the conquest of Muunilinst by the New Imperial Order - Empire when it was sold to the InterGalactic Technology Union to avoid it becoming nationalized.

The main mission of the Bank of the Mid Rim is to provide financial services to the Mid Rim Territories and support the economic activity of the Trade Federation of Planets.

RATIONALE

The Bank of the Mid Rim was established by the InterGalactic Banking Clan before they were absorbed into the Sith Empire to form the Sith Banking Clan.

Once the Sith Empire collapsed and the New Imperial Order rose to take its place, the First Bank and its financial network was sold to the InterGalactic Technology Union and the Trade Federation of Planets in order to avoid being nationalized by the Imperialist Government on Bastion.
