Mentoring an Assassin [Corvo]

Zaiden stood atop a low hill, overlooking a small plain. His mind was blank, sight on the future. He wished to see how his future would result..

With a shake of his head he turned, the only clear thing he could sense was the arrival of the young man he had sent for. He sought out the young man, @[member="Corvo Attano"], because an old ally of his had found out about the young man through his trade. The trade Zaiden himself shared. Some of the things Corvo did, they were like Zaidens owneexperiences. To good to be natural.

Zaiden wanted to help the man. Hone his skills. Hoping to maybe make a long time ally as well...

Corvo approached the man who had asked for him. Someone by the name of @[member="Zaiden"]. He read his file of course. Corvo was smart enough to read up on someone before meeting them. This would eliminate any kind of trick the opponant had. Corvo was paranoid like that.

As he approahced he suddenly felt the force with the man. Powerful. Not yet a master but well trained. A kinght, perhaps?

He extended his hand towards the man, expecting a handshake. "Corvo Attano. You looking to hire me for a contract?" Corvo had recently started to except open assassination contracts. Kept him well funded. Even though he wasn't strong in the force, he was strong in tactics and many other weapons.

Zaiden shook his head shaking the man's hand in earnest, "I hear you have talents. Non normal talents. You have enough talent that it traveled my chain of contacts. I am Dark Jedi Zaiden James, Hand of the Empress. And I am offering to teach you. If you accept and make yourself my apprentice, I will teach all I know..of the force and for your career."

He never allowed his information on a first glance, but the man had foolishly let go his own. Assassins need to be more discreet, or risk being arrested. Or worse.

Corvo wasn't surprised by the man. Several others had approached him but he turned them down. He shook his head in agreement. Something was different about @[member="Zaiden"]. Seemed different. "Alright then. I'm not to talented with my blade but with the force. That is something I learn fast with."

Corvo was hesitant to agree. He knew that if Zaiden was well trained, he could set up an ambush. Then again, Corvo was talented at turningh a surprise, that was ment for him, against the opponant. "Alright then. I'll see you tomorrow." Corvo left amost after. Not wanting any more information leaked about him. He knew Zaiden would try and look up his records. Good thing he knows hot to hack the holonet.

Zaiden approached the location of their meet. Painting a sign that said Read to Find, Zaiden slammed it into the ground so the boy would see it. Looking around, Zaiden began climbing the sides of the buildings around himself. With a practiced ease, Zaiden reached a barren room with but a bed inside. It sat overlooking the sign, so would be perfect to wait in. The boy would need to read the force to find Zaiden, there were to many places he could be otherwise.

Sitting on the bed, Zaiden opened his mind to the power of the force and waited for his apprentice.

Corvo approached the meeting area only to find a sign.

He looked around. He realized the test. To find @[member="Zaiden"]. He closed his eyes momentarily and became one with the force. He began to jump into the many rooms around him, thoroughly searching for his master.

Zaiden watched the young man climb through the buildings, he clearly was accustomed to the perils of high climbing. It was a peril all Assassins of the age faced. As the boy would stray, Zaiden would send the most miniscule force tendrils near him. If the boy stayed alert he would never go to far off track.

As Zaiden realized the boy was close, he left another sign that read "Take this strip of cloth @[member="Corvo Attano"]. Blindfold yourself. Follow." When he finished, he left the door open behind himself so the boy would no where to start, and began walking through the corridors that were in the building. The boy would be in for a surprise for this portion.

Zaiden smiled, the boy was showing more signs of talent than he had expected.

Corvo could feel his presence. He was getting closer.

Upon coming through one window he found another sign. "Blindfold huh," Corvo whispered to himself after he read the sign. He made sure he was quiet. He knew the key to being an assassin was to be quiet.

He knew @[member="Zaiden"] was planning something. He was ready though. He picked up the blindfold and walked through the open door. He was ready.

When @[member="Corvo Attano"] stepped into the hall, Zaiden felt the force and immediately began using it to bang the many million windchimes hanging from the roof. He successfully deafened even him, so he began to approach the young man. Slowly he got within arms reach and jabbed him lightly once in his ribs shouting, "Use the force, fight! Dont remove the blindfold!"

Stepping back Zaiden brought his hand back and blew another force push at the chimes, keep them loud and him blind. Then he has to really focus. He couldnt hurt the boy, he knew that and wouldn't. But bruises have always been known to help the mind focus.

Returning to the young man's reach, he jabbed again at the young man.
