Menoda Farr, better known across starports, banquet halls, and war-torn palaces alike as The Gourmet, is a Rodian culinary savant of galactic renown. Draped always in custom silks and ever-smelling faintly of star-anise and roasted vineleaf, he is the enigmatic Guildmaster of the Galactic Gastronomy Guild, a fiercely selective institution of culinary mastery. Though Rodians are rarely associated with high cuisine, Menoda shattered those expectations decades ago with the release of Aroma of the Outer Rim, a cookbook that combined feral jungle spices of Rodia with refined Alderaanian techniques. Since then, he has authored over forty holobooks, some so exclusive they're encoded to the genetic signatures of galactic nobles.
Menoda's influence is more than literary, however. He owns and operates hundreds of restaurants, boutique vineyards, and exotic farms scattered across the stars, from Coruscant's underlevels to the floating spice gardens of Bespin. Whispered rumors say he once prepared a ten-course dinner for both a Hutt kajidic and a Republic senator on the same night, neither aware of the other's guest list.
