"Stardust, huh? Not heard that one before..." His voice trailed off as he leaned back against the bar, head tilted back slightly as he continued to judge the Aqualish. After a second or so of doing nothing, the Aqualish pushed his chair back with an audible screech, Shakes' hand sliding down by his thigh again. Another second passed, and then, quite suddenly so as to make the Rodian, jump, the alien stood up and marched forward, brows furrowed and hands notably blaster-free.
Shakes remained silent, fingers wrapped around the grip of his blaster.
"Can I help you?" The Aqualish grunted in angry, hoarse tones. "...Because you've been staring me down since you entered this damn bar."
Feth. The alien was quite evidently not the threat Shakes'd taken him for.
"Um... sorry. Thought you might've been... someone else." He gave a blatantly false smile to signal his apology.
"Huh." The Aqualish was not particularly amused. "You look at me again, I'll put your eyes out." His tusks were glistening with spittle, so much that Shakes recoiled slightly. The Aqualish grunted with exaggerated amusement as he realized Shakes' arm was quivering somewhat uncontrollably. "You ought to be scared, green-skinned idiot you are."
"Right." He spoke slowly; his grip on the blaster tightened. Before making any further moves, he gave Stardust a second face grin and shot the Aqualish in the back.
"Cheeky bantha-herding son of a-" The rest of his words were drowned out by the repeated shots as the Aqualish crashed onto the floor. "...The only person who's scared of you isn't old enough to fething drink!"
His words were, admittedly, pointless. The Aqualish was dead.
