APPORANCE:
Mongalore towers over his kin and his girth is quite massive. This is undoubtedly due to the combination of genetic testing and cloning. Kordans were bred, fed and trained to produce the line that led to Mongalore. Physically, Mongalore is the climax of his species's potential.
He has heterochromia, causing his eyes to appear different colors. Repeated dying and genetic manipulation caused his hair to grow purple - this was a personal preference of his Quermian masters to identify different lines of Kordans they bred. Since his nickname was "King" since inception, the purple fur color was found to be very fitting and quite ironic by the end of the rounds of testing.
The "King" name also referenced his size, as Mongalore would grow to be the largest of his predecessors.
BIOGRAPHY:
Mongalore's story starts before birth. In 815 ABY, several rogue Quermian scientists set up an underground laboratory on Korda VI with the purpose of achieving advancements in related fields of science. With the help of several merchant Mandalorian elements present on the planet, the Quermians began a ranch for farming and raising Kordans. Picking only the strongest to mate together, the scientists established several lines of genetic traits. The mercantile Mandalorians were employed for training and education of the small Kordan population selected for testing. In accordance with the Mandalorian training and education, several Kordans were chosen to learn and emulate history. While it started just as a program of education for what could possibly be a warrior society of genetically improved Kordans to sell on various Shadow Markets for services, the mercantile Mandalorians forced this program over time to adopt a more fanatical approach. They wanted to start their own Mandalorian society on Korda VI, and the Quermians had no problem agreeing in exchange for their continued alliance.
Upon the birth of Test No. 234, nicknamed "King", the Quermian scientists knew they were reaching the end of their testing on Korda VI. He was the largest, the fastest, the strongest, the smartest. He was ground zero for the next stage of their testing, and the Quermians watched him closely as he grew of age. In 840 ABY, the Quermians successfully cloned King in their rudimentary laboratory. There were 12 clones in total grown over the course of a year while the Mandalorians took charge of King's education. The program was stable, their clones were being grown, and the overall experiment was being deemed a success.
The problem came when King was subjected to advanced Mandalorian brainwashing. As Subject Zero and deemed the "purest", the Mandalorians wanted to train him to become a leader of his new Kordan clan by subjecting King to various techniques they had developed to convince King he was a Mandalore from the past. This in turn would be developed into a psyche that the Kordans would adopt - one similar to the Mandalorian culture. King would, in turn, answer to the rogue Mandalorian merchants and do their bidding.
In 844 ABY, this testing broke King's psyche. As he ended one session, King looked up at his Masters and said the word.
"MONGALORE."
Adopting his new identity as a bizarre and twisted version of Mandalore, Mongalore attacked his Mandalorian masters. The devastation that followed was incalculable, leading to the Quermian scientists to burn the Laboratory and systematically execute all previous and future clone subjects. However, they were unable to capture Mongalore in the following events, giving him a chance to exact his revenge. Each scientist, each remaining Mandalorian merchant was - over the course of several days - hunted to extinction by a vicious and commanding Mongalore. In recordings found later in the remains of the laboratory, it's stated that Mongalore was using the bones of his clones to beat the scientists today. He would then leave Korda VI on one of the Quermian's transports, carrying a skull of one of the clones with him.
The last confirmed sighting of Mongalore states that he had a Kordan's skull on his hand like a puppet and was talking to it.
