Strengths:
- Mon Calamari Strength: With powerful overlapping shields and armor, the "Eurydice" could take damage from several sources at once and weather the storm. Its heavy armor plating was also a necessity in its diving functions.
- Quick: For a vessel of its size it could move rather quickly.
- Escort Required: While the "Eurydice" serves well as an anchor to a fleet or task force, it does not have the fighter support to properly ensure its safety in a battle.
- Turn Radius: Being such a large vessel and a rather quick one as well, it lacks powerful turn thrusters.
After the war, however, the vessels fell out of use as the Sith took over the watery world. Many of these vessels went into hiding deep in the oceans of Mon Calamari. After the New Sith Empire poisoned the seas, however, many survivors fled to the vessels in a grand exodus of the world, fleeing to the Outer Rim Coalition. Now over three decades old, they had to be retrofitted for new threats.
Many of the rooms that once held large computer systems were able to be miniaturized and replaced with generators for larger and more powerful engines. While originally unable to hold fighters the cargo bays of the vessels were converted into small hangars. These modifications weren't necessarily done for, however, and instead were geared towards fighting off pirates as the refugees headed into the lawless land of the Outer Rim Coalition. After the Resistance under Gilamar Skirata and Okkuhm Rils was disbanded and Rils fled to the Outer Rim, the schematics fell into the hands of Kyprin Engineering Corps. They took the design and incorporated it into their military contract line of vessels while simultaneously using them as modified cruise liners for their subsidiary Errant Ventures. The vessel in that capacity was popular as a space to sea excursion vessel.
