Personality

Mayumi Kochi is by all appearances an average human trying to live her life. But, underneath the surface there is a cold calculated woman who wants many things. She has taken to the idea that if she wants something, she can just take it. Even though she can appear to being compassionate, she has the ability to detach herself from an emotion and this aids her in her profession. She prides herself on attaching to no one, but her biggest fear is being unwanted.

When it comes to food she is obsessive. She will buy mass amounts but not eat any of it, preferring to count it repeatedly. She loves to drink and has no problem in drowning her sorrows in alcohol. She has a hatred for the rich and believes that they don't deserve what they have, therefore she has a habit of stealing from them specifically.

Mayumi is ruthless in captaining her ship. She will kill member of her crew for very little reason and gives out harsh punishments. The only two members of her crew that she has actual affection for are Jeffry (her deformed first mate) and Jally (head engineer).

History

Mayumi Kochi was dropped off by an unknown doctor at an orphanage on Tatioone. She was a difficult child who adapted to her situation by becoming ruthless and cunning. Instead of considering the other children her family, she considered them competition for food. Food in the orphanage was scarce, so this resulted in her becoming obsessed with having it. Her education was barely anything, resulting in her inability to read or write well at all.

At the age of nineteen she was told to leave the orphanage and this is where she met Kassey Daklin, who introduced her to the life of a criminal.
