Also, so a few questions.
One) Why use non-standard metals for the ship's manufacture? I see no reason that the ship needs ultrachrome on it. Neuranium has been noted for its extremely dense properties, particularly when used over a wide space. This would surely affect a fighter's maneuverability.
Two) Shields that hug a ship's profile rather than extend out in a bubble are terribly complex and difficult to keep in functioning order, and as such are typically reserved for larger ships with standard "bubble" shields as back up.
While the idea is solid, I think you need to revisit a few of these issues and consider how they affect the fighter and whether you want to keep them and update the submission accordingly, or if you want to change them for some other thing.
