  • N/A
Squadron Count:
  • 4 MATT-2a
Passenger Capacity:
  • Seated: 10
Cargo Capacity: N/A - No room for cargo
Misc. Equipment:

  • Scanner
  • Comm unit
Strengths:
  • Transporter; Capable of transporting two and a half fireteams on the go.
Weaknesses:
  • Ground-Based; the MATT-2a is a ground-based vehicle, unlike many modern vehicles it is incapable of free movement across a broad spectrum of terrains, or even simply flying over an obstacle. The MATT-2a only has one option when blocked - find another route.
  • Hull; the vehicle is quite open, allowing for attackers to easily gun down the operators.
  • No Defense; Unlike it's cousins, the MATT-2a is purely a transporter and has no room for armaments, thus making it a sitting duck if caught in combat.
Description:
The MATT-2a, Multi-Purpose All-Terrain Troop Transport, takes after its MARV series cousins with a similar design and aesthetic. The chasis of the vehicle has been upgraded for increased durability and a roll-cage for the rear tray.

The troop transport has gone away with the turret placement and swivel plates in favour of five seats on either side and a open-air cabin for the troopers, allowing for quick entries and dismounts. The bulkier weight has cost speed on road and off-road, as well as maneuverability.

squadron size does not work that way. it is not an equvilant meterage it is a bas 12 for a fighter squardon. smaller craft get some bump but no anything based on their meterage at all.

please remove the math from the submission.

that being said normal vehicle squadrons are 4 to 8 vehicles. Most walkers such as AT-ST are squadrons of 4. Most tanks are squadrons of 4. since thay really do not matter because NPC ground battle doesn't rely on squadron counts for force comp if ou want to keep it at 21 that is fine. Just wanted to point out 4 is generally all a vehicle squad gets normally.

this is too fast for a wheeled unit at this size and mass. This is well into the speeder range of speeds. While this could be achievable in straight lines turning at these speeds would flip the vehicle over.

MAke a note that 250 kmh is straight line and reduce it to 150 turning.

The template said a squadron is equivalent to the weight / length of 12 X-wings, so I did the math as according to the template? Everything has been edited.

Armor Section wiki

you can make it 21 if you like or 24 even. Its not a hard number. t is just the base most of us go by who do NPC ground, because it is what wiki has. If you want to make it what ever please feel free to. We will just consider it an oversized squad in NPC ground not big deal :)
