A relic of the past, this mask once belonged to a very young Romeo Sin in his aloof years of running around the galaxy in search of power and knowledge. Romeo first bumped into his would be past wife, Patricia Susan Garter, who would find the mask be very attractive on him and ominous. Romeo wore this mask to several battles, and duels, it becoming his signature look to hide who he was from the Ember of Vahl, and members of the Sith Empire. At some point, Romeo and Patricia had a falling out after their first child, Erika, was born. Romeo became a single father while Patricia went to do whatever it the blonde in the red dress did. Romeo wore this mask many of times while helping build the Shadow Empire, and after it's fall. During the One Sith's invasion of Manaan, Romeo had helped the Republic, and fought along side his then wife against the tyranny. Reunited once more Romeo handed Erika over to her mother as it was clear Patricia was out of her league facing the Sith, and Romeo could not stop fighting them. During the fall of the Empire, Romeo handed the mask over to his brother, Razer, and attacked One Sith controlled Coruscant on a suicide mission. Upon dying in the arms of Taali Raaf, Romeo was redeemed in a sense from the corruption of the Dark Side. Razer then found Patricia to inform his sister-in-law of the death of Romeo, and hand over his mask for Erika to have one day when she was old enough.
The mask holds much of Romeo's own personal presence in the Force, giving it his signature Dark Side aura. This was achieved unknowingly by Romeo, as all the rage, hatred and passion he felt while wearing the mask in battles empowered it. The mask is, regardless of the aura effect, nothing special. It holds a standard Heads-Up Display to allow one to see clearing through the darkly tinted transparisteel. The mask is faceless, and able to hide it's wearer's identity quite well. Provided with negative emotions to feed on, the mask is capable of strengthening one's connection to the Dark Side, and through meditation can sometimes provide one a glimpse into the life of Romeo Sin in his younger years.
