LOCATION: Muracie, Capital of Centares | TIME: 1300 Hours | EQUIPMENT: In bio

For the people on these streets, chaos was about to unfold. But for Tae'l, this was just another day on the job. The Twi'lek clone turned Mandalorian gunslinger had picked up a new contract originating in Sith space. Something about a murderer who fled the scene of the crime, possibly an enhanced humanoid. A women with Ashen hair, short and thin build, that was about all the descriptor she was given.

What interested her the most however was that her Howl_runner program picked up information on Centares along the Parlemian Trade Route, a hyperlane that went from Sith Imperial Space, through the core worlds and into the Empire of the Lost. She had been to Imperial space once before and made a sizable stack of credits by hunting for them. It had been an exciting battle too, and perhaps this hunt would be the same. For now however, she walked the streets at a casual pace, sipping a drink through a straw tucked under her helmet while checking her wrist display from time to time as the Howl_Runner program hacked into nearby systems, constantly checking camera feeds and databases for facial recognition, comparing thousands of photographs every second to find a match. If The target was here, she'd find them eventually.

Cain, despite her penchant for obscurity, decided against raising her cloak.

For the first time in weeks she felt genuine warmth. Gone was the ache, the famine in her bones; replaced instead by total silence. She more or less felt indifferent about her kills after they happened, but the calmness they provided for someone such as herself was nothing short of intoxicating. Her body always seemed to be on the verge of collapse, forcing her to higher and higher extremes.

To have the storm tempered for once almost seemed miraculous.

The girl sat on the ledge of a building, knees hugged to her chest while she watched the movement below. It was rare she had any peace to cling to.

Tae'l continued her stroll, trying to ignore the looks given by locals as she passed by. Mandalorian sightings on this side of the rim had become rare ever since the purge. That power vacuum pathed war for the civil war which saw the sith empire crumble, and a new order rise in it's stead, allowing a more civilized habitat to form. Even after the new order fractured in kind, and the Empire of the Lost formed amidst the new ash, the galactic east was nothing like before. She was thankful that her guild codes were still acceptable here, else she couldn't have been certain they wouldn't have tried taking her weapons. She had already given up on asking them for leads.

Thankfully she wouldn't have to, as the Howl_runner pinged another match. This one was recent.

The holo-projector on her wrist began displaying frames cut from the camera feed of a local storefront, catching a glimpse of her query across the street, approaching a different building entirely.

It took a moment, but she found the storefront in question, ignoring the salesman making his pitch about some droids. After identifying the camera, she was able to triangulate the position and approach the correct building, stopping in the middle of the street to look it over. Her gaze began to drift upward, and then she stopped.

She couldn't tell who exactly was sitting up there, but a figure was most definitely present atop the building. Using the neural link, she began recording from her visor, giving the Howl_Runner time to compare and identify the figure.

The Twi' lek's search would return a positive. Cain was a hard person to impersonate, her eyes sizzled into whatever could hold her wavering attention long enough. By most definitions the girl wasn't conventionally pretty, but she certainly was striking. A face that didn't exactly melt into the crowd.

So instead, she floated above it, staring down while completely oblivious to the hardened Mandalorian homing in on her location. Tae'l would certainly find who she was looking for.

Tae'l was not in the habit of meeting conventional people, and Cain Sevu Cain Sevu was no exception if the image on her holoprojector was anything to go by. Admittedly, she hoped to get a better look before this was done, unsure why she seemed so different, but quite curious.

Just then, the device chimed in confirmation of a match, and Tae'l was quick to dismiss the holoprojector.

Using the neural-link in her head, she began commanding the entire suit of armor with just a thought, bending her knees slightly as she prepared to jump. Her jetpack was not subtle, but it was quick. It was similar to a jump pack depending on the user's settings, which propelled her just slightly higher than Cain herself with a loud roar that lasted only seconds, but caused some of the citizens below to cover their ears in surprise. At the same time, she threw her hand forward, using the neural link to quickly launch a smart rope from her custom gauntlet, intending to wrap around the target's arms or waist, in which case this would be easy money she thought.
