Hey folks!
Welcome to September and a whole new map update. This was our first map update with the new invasion and dominion ruleset with the new grid, so upon review, administrative staff decided to ensure that the map is "hextastic" instead of all the random tentacles left. So the tentacles have been filled out to complete the hexes with the only exceptions being hexes with more than one Major Faction's influence cloud in it. This provides a solid and clear understanding of the map for a visual representation of these influence clouds.
I also made the influence clouds a tiny bit lighter to ensure ease of reading of the planets underneath.
There were a WHOLE lot of canon planet requests to fill out the empty planets. Awesome. Just please make sure that your links are valid and link towards the planet you want added. I don't want to end up having to search for the planet you want to add myself. I verify the planet locations by reviewing the Wookieepedia article and then offical star wars maps for their placement. If they are not in the area that matches the official maps, I place them there. If they are waayyy off, then they are denied.
I would like to congratulate the Confederacy of Independent Systems for their Major status. Their request of purple was granted. Unfortunately, Order of the Sacred Lotus and the Dominion are no longer on the map but we wish them well.
All in all, good work everyone with the new transition with the new smaller and compact hex grid. Staff hopes that everyone is enjoying these new rules.
