PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS

Manti is deeply committed to the Way of the Mand'alor, believing its tennants are fundemental to a Mandalorian's identity. Whether effective or not she stubbornly adheres to The Way's tenants as they have become so engrained in her identity she finds it difficult rationalizing why she would ever leave them. This does, however, lead to tensions when dealing with less fanatical sects of Mandalorians, who she believes to be misguided at best.

Beyond her commitment to The Way is her commitment to the Mand'alor and to the homeworld which shares the title's name. Whether she holds different beliefs to the leader of the Mandalorian people matters not, as to her only a supreme commander and warrior is possible of holding the title for long.

STRENGTHS

Strategist:
Manti grew up learning strategy and practicing war games and found such skills came naturally to her from a young age. This natural skill with decades of training built on top of it has seen her become a cunning and ruthless strategist who can outwit many across the galaxy.

Ace Pilot: While every Mandalorian is at home in their armor, Manti is most at home when she's in the seat of a starcraft. Very rarely has she lost a starfighter duel and few who know her would dare challenge her to one.

WEAKNESSES

Dogmatic: Indoctrinated from a young age Manti finds it difficult to stray from Mandalorian teachings which often corners her into certain ways of thinking and acting which can make her predictable.

Antisocial: Empathy, kindness, and patience are difficult for Manti to articulate, a fact she is incredibly self conscious of. This has made it difficult for her to make connections or make an effective leader as her attempts to connect with other sapients in the galaxy often frustrates her. She is partially in denial about these facts however and is known to lash out against those who critique her behavior.

HISTORY

Manti was adopted into Clan Wyrvhor very early in her life when the clan came to the aid of a Tygerii merchant vessel beset by pirates. While most of the crew died, the baby that would become Manti Wyrvhor survived and was ultimately adopted and raised according to the customs of the clan. Clan Wyrvhor had long been a nomadic semi-outcast Mandalorian clan, their strict adherence to The Way often alienating them from other Mandalorian clans and it was truely only the practice of Foundlings that kept the Clan's numbers from decreasing too rapidly from frequent combat from mercenary work. Manti was thus raised in isolation from most other Mandalorian clans, truely only mixing with her own clan and the occasional other Clan who the Alor of Clan Wyrvhor deemed devout enough to mingle with. Her life was brutal by galactic standards, living most of her life on rationed water and food while being drilled extensively in combat arts, strategy, and Mandalorian history.

While Manti's skill with the blade and blaster was beyond a regular person's, though only adequate for a Mandalorian, her skill in strategy; especially regarding starship combat, saw her excell within Clan Wyrvhor. She would, ultimately, be chosen as the successor to the Alor for the clan and take on the mantle. Today she leads the tiny clan into the future, throwing their lot in with the new Mandalorian Empire in an effort to distance her clan from its mercenary roots, grow the clan's prestige, and secure a homeland for her clan.
