Weaknesses:
  • Fry out after 3-8 Years
  • To be connected to a ship they had to be removed from the helmet module
  • Fragile when not in housing
  • Any data on the chip when it fries is lost
DESCRIPTION
A small computer chip that could be inserted into Mandalorian helmets and various starships and Mandalorian tech, Mandalorian battle computers were miniature battle computers developed over a period of several hundred years and for many were the secret sauce to their success as Mandalorian soldiers, warriors, and bounty hunters. They allowed for the vast amount of information collected by advanced Mandalorian HUDs to be consolidated and expressed in simpler ways. The chips could be inserted into most Mandalorian ship computers and act as data storage for maps, plans and other data.

These chips deteriorated after a few years in heavy use cases and without a data transfer all data was lost after the chip fried.

I see what you're going for - however, a problem arises when it comes to the Curator element of the submission. The Curator element, in of itself, falls under the restricted category of Artificial Intelligence.

So you've got two options here: you can remove the Curator element and keep the submission at Minor production, or you can lower the production to Semi-Unique.

Please tag me once you've made your update I'll happily stamp this.

[member="Darth Metus"] the submission was edited but I think a firmer definition of AI needs to be defined because the definition it links to is just a description of a droid brain. Are AIs just droid brains without a droid body? Is it *specifically* the hologram interface component? Is it self learning? Because the only thing that differentiated this from a droid brain was its holographic interface.

The hologram interface, combined with self-learned and personality is what caused me to deem it an AI. Per the restricted materials list, Artificial Intelligences feature most of the above without being droids.

With that said, approved!
