Armor Description
Description: Canderous Ordo is by far one of the most well known Mandalores in the Mando culture and history. The reclaimer of the mask and savior of the clans this man accomplished many feats in his time before and during his time as the ruler of the clans. He has cemented his place in history and with it his iconic look and armor has been preserved with it. This is the armor of the great man and leader that was Canderous Ordo.
Forged by the beskar smiths of Mandalore this quality piece of armor was crafted with careful precision in mind by far some of the greatest black smiths in the galaxy. The quality and thought that goes into each piece of armor by a smith is top notch and this is armor that traces back to the days of old republic. Since the time of the Jedi Madalorian wars that saw the downfall of the clans and death of Mandalore the Ultimate at the hands of the Jedi Knight Revan and then saw him as a friend through its visor and the eyes of the man beneath it.
But as far as armor goes and especially beskar armor, while it is high quality work it is a little open when it comes to plating. Being sparse on protection it covers the vital areas such as the head, chest, arms, and most of the legs. The plates that cover these areas are thick and capable of stopping most attacks be it blasters, sabers, or slug throwers, all around it's a quality piece of armor made by smiths who knew what they were doing.
However as stated the armor is lacking in a few areas, such as the groin, back of the legs, neck, and other small cracks along the body. These are only covered by an overlaying rubber type material and beskar mesh. And while beskar mesh is nothing to joke about it provides significantly less protection than a plate would. A good strong knife, a slug, even sustained attacks from energy weapons could damage this armor and wound the user.
But all and all this is the armor of late Canderous Ordo, Mandalore the Preserver. A brave warrior, strong leader, friend of Revan, and great man. It's a piece of important galactic history and even being around it a force sensitive could feel the strength and psychic energy this iconic piece of armor resonates.
