[SIZE=11pt]Malina Annigan’s story is anything but tragic. Her parents adored her and gave her the best education they could. She wanted for nothing as a child, and proved quite popular with other students. Her instructors praised her intellect and talents, calling her a prodigy. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]When she was old enough, her parents bought her passage off-world where she enrolled at Lorrd University. It was here Malina quickly learned she was less than special, and proved more ordinary among her new peers than she did on her homeworld. Students from across the galaxy came to study here, and it seemed every last triumph of hers was eclipsed by someone else’s.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Rather than compete directly, something she believed to be ultimately futile, Malina instead opted to sabotage those she considered her chief rivals. One scandal after another, the whole swath of them dropped out and she inched her way closer to the top percentile.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]She should’ve realized this wouldn’t last forever, and perhaps somewhere inside she knew it. One particular attempt was discovered, and just like that Malina was expelled. Nah. She managed to blackmail the instructor, and eventually graduated with flying colors and placed fourth in her class.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Although Malina produced many enemies and rivals along the way, losing nearly every friend in the process, she became proud of her results. Sometime later, when the The Sith Empire came around, Malina enlisted with the Sith Armada and found her skillset transitioned splendidly. [/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]Malina developed her reputation as a ‘Tactical Operations Officer’ overseeing a variety of smaller operations meant to secure high-value targets, crush unrest, and gather information; coordinating between space and planetside forces.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]From her position, she managed to siphon resources, artifacts, and wealth for herself at the expense of locals from whose possession she took. During her tours she attained the rank of Commander, and gained a higher degree of autonomy when she transferred to an anti-insurrection cell within the armed forces.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=11pt]From here Malina hit a ceiling in her career. Finding it difficult to compete with Sith Lords, admirals, generals, and the various political machines that dominate the Empire. [/SIZE]
