Location: The Angel's Den, Dal'bor, Soceras

James was sitting in his private lounge, waiting. The couch's red leather seats conformed around him perfectly in a hedonistic display of opulence. The smells of alcohol, spice, and pleasure from the dance floor in the stories bellow mixed with the smells of the flowers and gorgeous perfumes. Waiters and waitresses, alike, the definition of the galaxy's most gorgeous beings stood waiting on James. Several guards were posted at the door, massive wall window, and around the room. A conocopia of pleasures were sprawled across the table.

This was how a crime lord did business. More specifically, this was how James Justice, lord of the Vice City of Dal'Bor, did business. He was expecting the renowned [member="Matsu Ike"] who he had heard was one of the Jedi's most premiere craftswomen. While James had a general scorn for the Saber Jockeys, he had a great deal of respect for someone, anyone, who was able to reach down in themselves and create something out of seemingly nothing. Almost like he had, it was a trait he rarely found in others, but one that he deemed deserved more respect than all the baby kissing and hand shaking in the universe.

He took a pull from one of the alcoholic bottles as he waited, for him business was as much about having a good time as it was about being successful. He was generally good at both.

Oh there was quite a lot of interesting things happening now, with some of the large expansions they had been doing and the massive increases in their operations. Credits were at an influx... like she was surprised by it mostly because of how with a lot of the improvements that had been going on. They were able to with the seeder ships have large factories that could cut down costs on building by finding rich new worlds that were uninhabited with the droids. Other worlds they could make friendly relations with and establish large trades to help the people on there while growing as a company and group. It would give them all of the things they needed while she was walking.... Other benefits to meeting with some of the other people in the galaxy well, she got to deal with more helpful people then some of the larger corporations that didn't like helping unless it was solely in their favor. JAmes Justice and Justice shipping well gave her a new market with the free colonies as Kay was a friend and always one for recommending and helping. She could provide what they needed on many different fronts besides weapons and equipment. They were also now thanks to some crafty work entertaining, developing biotech and controlling a nice, strong healing herb that most people overlooked. "Thank you for seeing me." She said it while standing there and the jedi master had a small look of enjoyment at most of the situation.

James spread his arms wide open as Matsu entered the room, "Welcome to The Angel's Den, nest of Pleasure and Vice."

He motioned to one of the matching couches beside him, "Please, miss, have a seat. I hope your journey was enjoyable?"

The spacer waved towards one of the servants, "A drink for the lady and whatever she would like."

The young girl gave a nod and stalked off to obey after getting their order. Four of the other servants began to advance toward Matsu, two women and two men. James held his hand up to them, stopping them. She was a Jedi, they generally did not engage in that sort of thing. The spacer lifted a cigarette to his lips with his other hand, taking a pull from it and letting the sweet tobacco fill his lungs.

"Make yourself comfortable, miss," he said, as the smoke trailed from his lips, 'Is there anything that we can get for you?"

Well he was certainly friendly and that wasn't always a bad thing but she had learned from past jedi the more friendly the more they were looking for ways to take anything you did or said to twist it to their advantage. Paranoia was a dangerous thing but it sucked when that was so easily what you needed to deal with people you trusted. She did though take a seat and offer a smile while not sensing for the moment hostile intentions or anything ill so that was a major plus in her decision to enjoy this moment or two of peace. "Just some tea, I will admit this has been quite an enjoyable time so far." Working over many of the things she could find plenty of uses but Justice shipping provided a way for them to get and secure some of the more rare resources of the galaxy.

"I am quite glad," James said with a winning smile, "I am planning on opening a spa resort soon, the renovations are under way, we are converting a massive spice warehouse into what I plan to be the biggest resort in Wild Space."

The spacer let out a loud laugh, "You should have seen this place when I got here. It was tragic. Crime everywhere. Slavery, murder, shootings every hour. We haven't had a public shooting in three months, and we have finally rooted out the last bits of the slavers in the city." He paused as the glass of tea came born on a try by one of the female servants. "I am glad this city has been to your tastes, if you find anything lacking or care to share splendor you want to see, do not hesitate."

He raised his glass to her before downing it in a quick motion. As fast as it was empty there was another one in his hand, given by a waitress.

"So, let's talk business now, I suppose," he said swirling the glass of the highly alcoholic beverage, "What can I do for you?"

"Well now that you have mentioned wanting a resort I should point out we do have Shion. It makes and opens them across the galaxy." She offered a smile and oh yes there was a whole lot of work that that could do, aside from just needing a shipping. She had some plans with their mining interests to get things "But I cam here cause while Sasori has been building up and making its foundation secured with many many webs for credits. As well as employment." She had a grin on her face while she was working on some of the things like their hostess club well had been expanding with Shion into making many different forms of entertainment people paid to go and see or watch. From just about anything same as with all of the mines they had they could operates with many of the materials. "We don't however have a shipping and transport company within us, Phenex makes good ships but we haven't made something to move all of our stuff."

James leaned back and stretched his arms wide. Ashes from his cigarette fell across the red leather couch and lush seating harmlessly.

"I do thank you kindly for that miss," he said with a suave smile. "I am glad that you have a widely expanding market. And I am even happier to tell you that the Justice Shipping logo on the side of ships will automatically get you into most ports and planets that other companies would not," he gave a sage nod. It was true that he had been snatching up licensees across the galaxy to ship. Bribes, black mail, murder, theft, and whole sale buying out were just a few of the cards that James was more than willing to employ in order to get his means done. And he often did.

The results spoke for themselves; Justice Shipping was rapidly becoming a household name.

"Another true story," James added before downing a glass of his alcohol beverage, "Justice Shipping is not only faster and cheaper than our competitors, but we also rank higher on our customer satisfaction and a lowest on piracy rates." Of course that was intuitive. Justice Shipping's massive pirate armada was more than an urban legend. James wielded his heavy cruisers like clubs on anyone who dared to even think of laying a hand upon his ships.

"So, I hope we can be satisfactory to your needs, yes?"

That was the way to do it, you could be like the others and charge several black market organs for a pistol as she had seen or you could make a similar pistol and offer it for a fraction of the price. Sasori did that and usually took it one step forward by working with them to sell what they could afford without breaking their credits and then you have many returning customers. A smirk on her face as while she handled the problems she also got to work with some of the really impressive things. "That is the way to do it, working to make sure customers return several times instead of once but for a larger amount. It is how we do business as well and we'd be happy to have some of the protection from Justice Shipping, we also well have some of the more exotic and rare technologies some do not use. Presses so we can set up and make more then enough diamonds or marketable nova crystals. Our aurodium mines are very profitable across the galaxy. We like working with the as some would say lesser companies." Which wasn't an insult, she was certain James had encountered the ones who were companies only working with other companies a certain size and friends instead of the ones who could build up and make long time connections for better business dealing. "We also pride outselves on some superior equipment at lower prices."

James grinned at the deal already being almost totally ironed out. He knew about the massive power of Sassori. They were a rising star in the massive sells with many niche markets. He tried to keep tabs on some of the businesses around the galaxy, for no other reason than to peg them for shipping contracts--and to bring them into the fold with the other business partners he had.

"I try to help the little guys out as well," the spacer agreed, "And all my friends. Take a look at [member="Alicia Drey"]. She is one of my rising star contacts on my business Rolodex. She owns some of the fields around, bought em from me for the right price. The lass now helps make a fair profit off feeding my city and selling the rest to the galaxy."

Someone had to do it, and if they were going to, at least she should, and make a profit off of it.

"On that note," James said, "if you ever are looking to expand into Wild Space or Outer Rim, give me a call. Soceras would be a great place to set up shop, since we are on the end of the Correllian Run, the fringe of both sectors. Its the corner office, so to speak. Give me a call if your interested, I will give you some pretty sweet tax deductibles that most planets can't compete with."

The more his economy was stimulated, the better it would run. The better it ran, the more jobs his people had. The more jobs they had the happier and richer his people were. The happier and richer they were, the less likely they were to try and commit crimes on each other. That was the point of the whole thing, after all.

The idea of setting up shop somewhere now it would be an interesting one, she was all for it though as more shops meant more people to help and hey why not continue with expansion purposes as they needed them. "well we'll gladly do such a thing, just got to work on some of the finer details. Mostly what we need shipping for as Sasori can keep you busy for a long while. between the different contracts you could possibly have." well over fourteen in the end or just about as needed for its stuff. Each subsidiary had different shipping needs and some other conditions so they could iron all of those out as needed and he could have access to their agricultural tech if they wanted to feed planets. The canteens and water systems they made produced water from very little and could recycle it.

James popped another shot back, which was quickly replaced by another drink. Someone should probably have told him that heavy drinking was bad when it was mixed with business, however the spacer had never really stopped--even though he knew it. Truth be told, the Force flowed stronger through him when the spacer was drunk. He had no inhibitions to hold him back.

"Finer details?" James asked with a grin, 'I am thinking I will shave off 15% from the standard cost for the shipping details, that is my standard offer. What more is there to discuss?" he gave a laugh, "Are you of the mind that your goods would be backlogged? I run enough ships across the galaxy to keep your goods going with the rest, its a flow, a streamlined but constantly moving flow."

Of course, a wiser being who took a close look at the shipping rosters and sizes of the ships would have deemed that smuggler was in place--and in some places, piracy.

"Less that and more, my different companies have different needs when it comes to shipping. The mercs legions runs jobs protecting some storefronts on more hostile world but also works on dangerous planets getting some of the more dangerous creatures. The details for other things like shipping delicate hardlight technology is important as well." She was going over some of the things with her datapad appearing while attention went to a few of the things moving them around on it. "Some of out things for mining we have been working to develop and store hypergems that can be sold. Those are dangerous to most species sanity if they look at it."

James chuckled and readjusted his seating.

"So what your saying is you want me to move stuff that you don't want others to see?" he couldn't help but laugh, "Miss, that is more than a third of my ops. We generally in this business call that smuggling, but some slap on fancy titles." He gave a slight shrug, "I am pretty sure I can handle that. And we have a bit of an expertise in moving troops as well, undercover or over cover--we have a few deals going ourselves of protection. And after the incident with Roche, and of course, the lack of security within international space these days, we generally keep a fair number of soldiers on board our vessels."

Smuggling... armored transport in black starships that people thought were always there. it was a fine line depending on where you went but sending entire fleets to escort things raised a lot of questions and did require a lot of work. Looking over the information on her holopad as she raised it up. "Armed fleets and convoys raise a lot of questions and with some of the companies that monitor the shipping lanes. Either to help themselves or to provide protection when they see a problem. It can be many things." She had it all while getting the contracts for the different companies. "This though can provide a lot of contracts to Justice Shipping and whoever else you need. We can even provide mining cuts for additional materials or our manufacturing ships."

James thought for a moment, tapping his finger on his leather couch before shaking his head, 'The mining thing may not be too much of an issue for now, but I will certainly keep it open," He did of course have his own mining company, but it never hurt after all to keep one's options wide open. The more chances he had to not only make money but also friends, the more chances he had to succeed.

"Ye are right," he agreed, "Larger fleets can draw a bit of," he chuckled, "Unwanted attention. I keep more than a few private traders under me pocket to do what is needed," did anyone really think that there were that many independent tramp freighters in Wild Space after James staked it as his turf? It was laughable. Even if it was through a series of shell companies, most, if not all of them, were under his command in one way or another. The puppet master. That was something for you, the anarchist puppet master. He took a confident pull from his cigar, "I assure ye, Miss, we will take care of ye needs. Do ye have any other finer details ye need taken care of from me?"

"No everything is handled I believe." There was a number of things that they had in the pipe and would be able to work with. She had a small grin on her face before going over some of the things. "We have everything needed to work with for now as well as some of the things for future projects." She was just glad things had gone well and she would be able to get transport and the main leg work between facilities done now.
