The atmosphere on the bridge of the Ines was less than pleasant. Malevolum could already sense that her subordinate was getting uneasy with their current position, and the Darth could already sense the officer trying to put forth an argument. She began to speak, but Malevolum did not divert her attention away from the viewing port. "My Lord, I must recommend that we with, the ship is at risk of-" "We will hold our position until our contacts arrive." Her words were definite, there would be no moving back.

If the data provided was true, the black hole they were observing seemed to show signs of radical change. The radiation levels it was giving off were wrong, it shouldn't have been possible for a black hole this young, the levels indicated it was at risk of just giving out. While normally this wouldn't be of any concern, it did spark interest within the Darth. Was this perhaps a hint at a scientific advancement? There was only one way to find out. It for was that reason she had sent word to Lady Zambrano, hoping that if anyone might hold knowledge of how to manipulate blackholes, it would be her. Malevolum turned to face the comms officer, looking down into the pit at the young lieutenant operating the system. "Have we recieved any word from our guests?" The Darth asked, her gaze hard and steely, as she could sense the answer from the young man, who looked petrified at being questioned by the Darth. "No my lord, nothing yet." Looking back at the black hole beyond, Malevolum looked to the officer manning the helm. "Helmsman, maintain our current distance. I don't want to get any closer to that disturbance unless we have to." "Yes my lord." It seemed her order was understood, and for now she would continue her vigil, until their guests of honor were to arrive. Then again, they were under no obligation to do so. She could only hope her message seemed proper enough to garner their interest.
