Maherei is a firm believer in strength through perseverance. Similar to ancient Sith principles, she believes that one's right to live is determined primarily by their ability to overcome, and thus a successful attempt on one's life proves their unworthiness; should one survive, their strength and wisdom increases. However, what is to her promotion of adaptability is to many Sith a means to weed out the weak. To her, loyalty to a proven leader is more cohesive and productive than proving that one has no right to their seat. It is this sole subscription that makes Maherei agreeable with the One Sith. She is otherwise bound by honor and respect.
A woman of strength and honor, Maherei is largely a Lawful figure in most circumstances, and her lack of concern for the machinations of her darker peers leaves her morally Neutral. She lives for the fight, believing the fury of battle will hone her skill, temper her will and evolve her wisdom. A person's word is law and one who breaks the oath is unworthy of making it. She is more popular with Imperial Agents and Commanders, who appreciate her fearless transparency and diplomacy.

(TLDR until I decide to write something meaningful) Maherei was once a chosen candidate for Ri'essi Shaman, revered Force-using Seers of the Mnenchei. When Queen Mnemenos I had introduced the less potent Dark arts to her people in the form of the Justiciary's training, she had inadvertently opened the door to corruption among the Mnenchei's younger, naive citizens. Maherei was one such individual, who chose to go against the teachings of High Queen and Enclave. The road to becoming a Sith had been short and the young Mnenchei ill-received, seen as nothing more than "Rep swine." What she lacked in power and influence, she held in martial prowess, as all Shaman and Justicars of Ri'ess did, and was determined to prove her peers wrong...even at the cost of blood and chaos.
