Personality
Maggie is first and foremost, brilliant. She is wise beyond her years, technologically versed, and learns things faster than any normal person should. Fact of the matter is, she is not normal, knows as such, and is perfectly fine with the fact. Her brilliance can sometimes bleed into her sense of humor, making her more logical in her reaction process than is necessary, but that doesn't mean she doesn't appreciate a good laugh or prank. She does have a quizzical mind, and always wants to figure out how things work, especially when it comes to a new piece of technology she either comes across or reads about for that matter. Mags does have a flirty edge to her personality, but not in the forward sense, nor is she even really aware of it. And she has the most ridiculous sweet tooth.

Biography
Maggie was never the girl who wanted to stay in the house to play dress up or house, much to her mother's disdain. The girl was always outside, digging into whatever she could manage to learn how things functioned, or how they grew for that matter. If she wasn't there, she was with her father in his shop, learning the ins and outs of mechanics and how machines worked. This was where her real love for such things had blossomed, and she grew over the years soaking up all manners of technological knowledge like a sponge.
It became such a deeply rooted love that Maggie made a career out of it - again, against her mother's desires. After all, the girl grew into an attractive young woman, and as such her mother wanted her to be flaunted, matched to someone wealthy, and taken care of for the rest of her life. Not that there was anything wrong with that, but it was against everything Mags had ever wanted for herself. And getting to where she wanted to be wasn't entirely easy. While the work of course she took to without trouble, it was dealing with others in the environment that was the hardest part. Teasing and taunting about how a girl who looked like she did couldn't possibly be smart enough to get anywhere in life - especially anywhere with the ambitions that Maggie had.
Yet she stuck to her path, learned to ignore the jeers, and pressed on until she got herself a place among a well renowned fleet. She has all of the things she could ever want to play with and experiment with. To build trinkets and new designs, so long as she of course does the tasks needed of her. Maggie can, after all, run any system you put in front of her with a quick explanation (and maybe a handful of questions). She can run diagnostics, scans, find ways to track things that are needed/wanted, or break into (most) systems when it's required. She's a whiz to have in the technological aspect of things, and is quite happy in her place now that she's found it.
