- Outlines the event in which the Criminal Caste of Madrugar Society was created
- https://www.starwarsrp.net/threads/madrugar.191027/
- Army Name: Marine Marauders
- Classification: Criminal Enforcers
- Affiliation: Madrugar Criminal Caste, under affiliation with the Black Sun Syndicate and the Madrugar people.
- Army Symbol: A gold palm with a black star in its center, often worn on the back.
- Description: Former members of the Warrior Caste who have changed caste to fulfill the cultural mandate to create a viable Criminal Caste. Consequently, they are surprisingly professional and disciplined, while also being grim and filled with the dutiful regret of self-sacrifice to become criminal agents. They are typically equipped with medium-heavy armor and blaster weapons.
- Headquarters: Headquartered on Madrus, though often deployed according to Black Sun requirements
- Goals: Perform security and enforcement for Black Sun operations while maintaining the professionalism (as much as is practicable) of the Madrugar people.
- Reputation: This army is new and lacks a widespread reputation at this time. On Madrus, they are seen as a lamentable concession to inevitability. A kind of 'Sin-Eater' condemned to endure the sins of Madrugar society by dealing with the Black Sun Syndicate so that other good Madrugar citizens do not have to.
- Army Size: Small- Approximately 1 percent of 1 percent the Warrior Caste volunteered to be 'sacrificed' to become the Marine Marauders of the Criminal Caste. This is approximately 100,000 individuals from a source base of 1 Billion Warrior Clan members.
- Composition: The Marine Marauders wear medium-heavy armor and utilize heavy blasters, blaster rifles, and repeating blasters in conjunction with walkers and speeders, and are often deployed from shuttles or modified Gozanti freighters. They have access to mortars, missile launchers, and grenades for squad support.
Bodek Karsin - Overall Enforcer for Madrus Black Sun Syndicate Criminal Operations - Overall leader of all Criminal Caste membership operating from Madrus. Formerly a worker caste member who was chosen to meet with the Black Sun Syndicate and come to some arrangement to preserve the Madrugar people. Was forced to volunteer to change castes, becoming the first of the Madrugar to join the Black Sun.
General Damani Drogus - She is an NPC General who volunteered to command and train the Marine Marauders, a force of shipborne warriors trained to disembark, seize territory, take out enemy targets, and protect criminal operatives. She is turning out re-trained Warriors as quickly as possible to meet the obligations of the Madrugar people to the Black Sun Syndicate. Re-training warriors is difficult, as criminal activity is anathema to the Madrugar psychology.
Major Mattok Hagrobar - He is an NPC Major who- once sufficient warriors are re-trained for major operations- will command Marine Marauders in the field to take hardened targets and control territory. Like Damani Drogus, he is one of the Warrior Caste members who volunteered to change caste to protect the Madrugar people from widespread corruption.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The whole idea of a criminal caste is a new concept to the Madrugar people, who have traditionally been law-and-order types who act for the benefit of their society. Just recently, when the Black Sun Syndicate took over the space in which Madrus is located, the Madrugar had to make a difficult choice: Fight the Black Sun, or Join them. They sent an envoy named Bodek Karsin to negotiate, and it was decided he would create a new Criminal Caste to meet the needs of the Black Sun Syndicate, limiting the criminal corruption of Black Sun into Madrugar society by making criminality an official caste to which some could belong. This criminal caste would need battle-capable individuals to support their operations on behalf of the Black Sun, leading a small fraction of the Madrugar Warrior Caste to change to the Criminal Caste to meet Black Syndicate requirements.
