STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES :

Unflinching: Surviving the horrible experience of being hardboiled, and later extensively brainwashed and torture under the Penguin Dominion, Mack possesses a high level of tolerance to pain.

Cock of War: A walking weapon, Mack is expert in the use of various weaponry, although he highly prefers slugthrowers, as his home world does not use blasters.

Chicken: It's a walking, talking chicken. Some people have trouble taking him seriously - then again, it does make them underestimate him.

Stand alone: Mack is a mercenary, and his nature tends to set him apart from others. He generally operates alone, which is starting to weigh down on him with age.

PTSD: Mack lost most of his friends in the war, and is constantly haunted by the memories that accompany their deaths. A broken man (well, chicken), he finds it harder each day to find a reason to get up from his bed.


APPEARANCE:

Mack is a humanoid chicken. His skin is covered by white feathers, his beak is where the human nose should generally be, and he has three fingers per hand. He constantly wears a black jacket, a black shirt with the white star and a grey bandana with the same insignia (the white star was the symbol of the SARS). He is a full-grown chicken, which means that his comb and wattles are quite long: the wattles reach down from his beak (center of his face) to where a human chin would be.

BIOGRAPHY:

One of the many creations of the mad scientists of Colony X-32, Mack was, like most of his peers, a biogically-altered bird (in his case, a chicken). Given human-like intelligence by his creators, Mack was considered a failed specimen and his egg was to be boiled. Surprisingly, he surprised the extremely painful experience and hatched; saved by one of the scientists who raised him as a son, Mack would play a huge role in the fate of X-32.

The birds created societies through the years that mimicked those of humans, advancing up to the information age thanks to the scientist's technological assistance. Several different nations were created depending on the type of species: Penguins, Albatros, Goose, Pigeons, Ravens, so and so on. The Penguins unleashed a master plan and slaughtered their creators, before launching a full-scale war against their neighbors. Mack was captured and subjugated to torture, then to Project: BLACKWING, which brainwashed him and a batch of other birds into serving the Penguin Dominion. Fighting for them for 8 years, he helped them topple the nations who hadn't submitted to them yet, until his brainwashing broke as he was about to gun down a young chicken and he killed his partners. Joining the Special Agent Recovery Service, one of the last movement of the Resistance, he fought for 4 years, until the Penguin Dominion came crumbling down after the fateful intervention of the Sith. Now free and without a goal, he became a wandering mercenary offering his services to the highest bidder. He has a particular fondness of the Sith thanks to their role in liberating his people.
