Maahes

Jah3Ub3.jpg

NAME: Maahes Zarmir
FACTION: The Brethren
RANK: Pirate
SPECIES: Guzijeij / Raquor’daan
AGE: 2 GSY
SEX: Male
HEIGHT: 5.4 m | 17’8’’
WEIGHT: 520 kg | 1145 lbs
EYES: Red
HAIR: Auburn
SKIN: Ashen
FORCE SENSITIVE: Nope.

STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES:

  • Powerful: The Guzijeij were made for one thing in mind, war. Thus their bodies had been expanded with alchemy and filled with bulging muscle alongside razor-sharp claws and teeth to tear through armor and shred enemy soldiers by the dozen. They can shred through most non-restricted materials.

  • Dense Bone Tissue: A leftover from the original Togorians, the Guzijeij inherited their dense bone tissue that allows them to endure greater physical trauma than other beings. Coupled with their increased size and musculature they can take even more of a wallop than their predecessors.

  • Ham-handed Phallic Metaphor: As part of the ongoing alchemical experiments on his kind, Maahes had been modified through Sith Sorcery while he was still but a cub in a womb. Through splicing with the Raquor’daan, Maahes eventually grew the stinger tail typical of the dark wolves. The sharp point of the tail is capable of delivering paralyzing poison, while his claws secrete toxin that enervates his enemies.

  • ...intelligent? Unlike most of his twisted brothers and sisters, Maahes displays a rudimentary sentience. He’s never going to be an astrophysicist, but he’s smart enough to understand most tools. His Basic is limited at most, with Sith as his primary tongue. Despite this, he’s easy to dupe, and most advanced subjects or tactics are beyond his grasp.

  • Vengeance: Maahes grew up in captivity, bred as a slave to the insane, bloodthirsty whims of Darth Carnifex. Though he’s too dumb to comprehend the true atrocity of his situation, he knows enough to fuel an endless anger towards his former oppressor – and anyone like him.

  • Weakness to the Light Side: As with all alchemically born creatures, the Guzijeij possess an innate weakness to the opposite side of the spectrum whence they were born; the Light Side of the Force. While they can be rallied against the Light Side in the presence of a powerful Dark Sider, they will ultimately flee if confronted by a greater quantity of Light Siders, especially when exposed to Force Light.

  • Soft Underbelly: While most of the Guzijeij is all tough muscle and sinew, there is but one glaring and obvious weakness to this race of tanks. Each member possesses an extremely soft and vulnerable underbelly that can be pierced with any bladed weapon or blaster bolt or slug, although to somewhat mitigate this weakness the Gujijeij will often have crude Graug-fashioned armor strapped over their midsections.

  • Low Finger Dexterity: These beasts were not meant to wield weapons, their claws are strong enough to rip through most standard armor. However; they cannot operate controls or perform any complex tasks with their fingers.
APPEARANCE:
Maahes is built and used as a battering ram. His thick hide and bristly fur protect him from the elements and most glancing melee attacks. For most soldiers, one look is enough to make them wet their pants. The veterans usually need to see him shred through a few squads of trained muscle and armor to convince them that, yes, fleeing really is the best option.

BIOGRAPHY:
A disproportionate amount of his short life so far has revolved around mere survival. Growing up as an experiment, a beast of war, Maahes had few options but to do what he’d been engineered to do – kill. All the while, he bode his time, waiting for the moment when he could finally break free.

When the opportunity finally came, it had been but another battle, bruised and bleeding in the name of his creator’s insatiable greed. Lost behind enemy lines, Maahes fell under the weight of artillery assault. He awoke many hours later, covered in caked blood and ice-cold corpses. Dragging himself into the woods, the abandoned monstrosity hunted himself back to full health, picking the local forest clean of all wildlife.

Eventually, he forged his path to the nearest port of the unknown planet. There, he found his way off-world as a stowaway on a cargo freighter.

Then the real hell began.
