Description: The M56 support droid was made to do much as it name suggests; support soldiers, bounty hunters, or other millitants, in battles. The droid is only ablout the size of a basketball, making it highly manuverable, made to buzz around enemies in small groups to distract or injure while their owner fights. However, they are not made to be true battledroids- it is not reccomended to send these guys out without real soldiers. To accomplish their support and distract roles they are equiped with a low power blaster weapon (comparable to a hold-out blaster pistol), and a M42 push device. They are programmed to swarm around enemies, and buzz around their weapons and head to distract while their owner makes the kill- and are programmed to take hits, fly in front of bullets, and give their 'lives' for their owners. Their blaster weapon allows them to inflict enemies with burns, while their pressure field generator is equiped to throw enemies off balance, and deflect projectiles made for their owner. To control their minor weapons systems, the droids are equiped iwth targeting systems- made to seperate enemies from allies, in order to sucesfully swarm enemies while minimizing friendly fire. They are also equiped with an extremely low-powered shield, only strong enough to take one hit from a average-powered blaster weapon, or slugthrower. Meelee weapons are often powerful enough to destroy the shield in one hit, as well. The droid si not without it's many weaknesses; it is lost without an owner, and is prone to all of the same weaknesses as basic droids. Plus, they are unarmored, and one hit from practically anything when their shields are deactivated will destroy them. They aren't made for front line battle, and front line battle will pretty much turn them into molten slag.
