STRENGTHS

Why won't you die: This Fighter has been modified to achieve as much survivability for the pilot as can be reasonably fielded, with a Durasteel Matrix Armor Hull, Heavy Ion and Heavy Deflector Shield, and Singularity Shield all providing a very high defense that is very difficult to overcome. Coupled with it's Enhanced Targeting Jammer, good for Missiles and Laser weapon targeting systems, and it is an unusually difficult to bring down Starfighter, especially when considering it's for mass production
Trusty Zappers: It fires Starfighter grade Pulse cannons, in place of typical lasers, modified for triple the fire rate, range, and accuracy of other weapons in this category and size
Fast Travel: Both it's Pulse Cannon projectiles and energy Torpedos have been modified so that their Projectiles travel twice as fast to the target as other weapons in this size and category
Go Anywhere: It's Solar and Gravitic Shields allow it to get MUCH closer to Stars and Black Holes than other starfighters could, and remain close to them for extended periods. It's also able to operate as a submarine and fight Underwater or simply remain submerged for extended periods
Speed: Fast as possible, allowing it to compete with most production Interceptors
Unlimited ammo: It's Energy Torpedos will never run out as long as it's power plant functions
Self Reliant: Possesses a massively Scaled down version of the power plant and Solar Recovery of a House Io Star Destroyer, allowing it to remain fueled and with all systems running for up to 7 weeks by taking in Solar energy to refuel. Able to take in very limited amounts of hyper matter or other typical starfighter fuels in an emergency to keep operating for up to three weeks. Micro repair drones can restore it by up to seventy percent condition in 24 hours from high density carbon reserves that must be replenished after repairing from severe damage twice. This is also aided by an astromech Droid which can also auto pilot the fighter in the event of pilot incapacitation. It has a built in Healing Field Generator that heals even very severe wounds over the course of 14 hours, stopping blood loss, and the cockpit doubles as a Stasis chamber to keep a heavily injured pilot who cannot be fixed by by the generator alive for up to 21 hours, with the Cockpit also ejectable from the main body and serving as an escape pod.
Fast Learner: Built in Synoptic Teacher modified for wireless use feeds combat data from the flight computer to whoever is piloting, being organic or mechanical, allowing the pilot to rapidly learn and digest the results, growing smarter rapidly at using the Starfighter, and rapidly learning enemy tactics. Pilots who use it become much deadlier at Starfighter combat in general, even when not using this particular craft, at twice the learning speed of other pilots, potentially producing aces at much quicker rates for the navy

WEAKNESSES

Turns: Only Middling Maneuverability, meaning one must take care not to let the Craft's top speed get the best of them
Armament: It's Torpedoes are dumbfired, with no tracking capability
Underwater Range: Underwater, all it's weapon ranges are reduced by half.
Recharge: When recharging over a star is the best time to hit it, as any damage it's solar collectors suffer will cascade down the planet, inflicting tremendous damage

DESCRIPTION

The Lyssa Class Strike Fighter is a high Performance Starfighter built in secret by Scion Mobile Shipyards to be the main Strike Fighter of choice for Organics in House Io, as well as Nuetralizers and Droids not originally purpose built for fighter duty, sacrificing Turn ability for speed and Survivability, The Lyssa Class has a high chance of making it home, due to the focus on bringing the pilot back alive.

The model of Starfighter is deliberate, meant to be an insult to the Jedi Order that first used the fighters these are based on and painted often in the color pattern a Jedi Master used on his own fighter in an attempt to further insult the Jedi and twist and pervert their iconography and imagery into something that wants to kill them.
