Rationale: Of Jorvan’s many front companies, Lusha was the first legitimate one. He built it in honor of a friend who wanted to be famous, but no one ever took a chance on her. Although he could never fulfill her dreams---a sin that haunted him because he thought he might have been able to prevent her tragic end if he had paid more attention to her, Jorvan tries to atone for it by helping the dreams of others just like her. The street musicians. The graffiti artists. The late night club singers who never thought their career would take off because no one important ever came to listen.
But Jorvan was listening and he was paying attention. For the ones who wanted to claw their way up from the darkness, he would give them a helping hand. For his friend’s sake. And because a little good karma could never hurt when he was doing so much bad in the universe.

They make a living of taking unknown talent and catapulting them to stardom. There’s no magic involved, but there is some criminal activity. In order to get his clients the venues or deals that they desire, Jorvan has no problem with flexing his muscle. Whether it’s financially, politically, or just flat out sending the goons to scare people into agreement.
It’s shady sure, but there was nothing shady about Jorvan’s clients. He didn’t run a charity organization; the people he signed were really talented. Once they got that opportunity to step into the spotlight, they always proved themselves to be worth the investment.
It was just Jorvan’s job to get their foot in the door first.
