Like your typical Zeltron, Lucia has violet hair and eyes and smooth pink skin. Unlike your typical Zeltron, she is overweight due to a congenital gland problem which slows down her metabolism.
BIOGRAPHY:
Luscia was born on Zeltros to a Zeltron mother and a nameless father. Her mother, Calista, was a well known model, tall and slim with an excellent physique. By contrast, Lusica was shorter with a plump, round body. Calista was obsessed with appearances, constantly hounding her young daughter to eat less and exercise more. Luscia tried to lose the weight to no effect—at the age of eight, she was discovered to have a gland disorder contributing to her weight gain. Additionally, Luscia did not have the lightning fast metabolism most Zeltrons had that kept them naturally slender. While medication could help manage her condition and keep it from worsening, very little could be done about Luscia’s extra pounds.
On the verge of her teenage years, Luscia’s mother gradually became less loving and more bitter towards her daughter, often calling her disparaging names and making nasty comments about her appearance. Meek and shy from years of being teased by her peers about her weight, Luscia did little to defend herself and often retreated to her room to cry. At one point, Calista refused to allow Luscia food for several days out of sheer desperation to get her to lose some weight, but Luscia managed to sneak enough food past her mother to ward off starvation. It was shortly after this time that Calista was around less and less, having gotten an off world modeling contract. This marked a more peaceful time in Luscia’s life. Calista returned home on occasion, treating her daughter with a mild disgust but was otherwise fairly distant from her. Disheartened that the only family she’d ever known had rejected her and fed up with living on a planet of slim beauties, Luscia made her way off of Zeltros at the age of 15 in search of a life with more purpose.
