SPECIAL FEATURES
  • Pretty Princess Pink™ Ion Beam
  • Biometric Trigger Lock
  • Increased range over the standard Ssi-Ruuvi Ion Paddle Beamer

Strengths:
  • The Obvious – It’s…It’s a paddle beamer. It is one of the most effective weapons in the Galaxy, at least against organic opponents. It ignores both energy shields and armor, most lightsabers can’t deflect it, and even a glancing shot can seriously feth with the target’s nervous system.
  • Extra Durable – Angel doesn’t like it when her toys get broken. All of Lullaby’s metal components are made of phrik.
  • Biometric Lock – Angel doesn’t like sharing, either (at least, not outside of romance). Lullaby’s safety is keyed to Angel’s biometric data – it won’t fire if someone other than her is holding it.
  • Cuteness Factor – The beam is pink. Okay, so that’s not an actual strength, but Angel adores it anyway.

Weaknesses:
  • Inconvenient Overspecialization – Considering Lullaby is designed specifically for use against the nervous system of a target, it’s not much use against an opponent without a nervous system, such as a Droid or a Shard.
  • EMP Vulnerability – The internal components which generate Lullaby’s ion beam are electronic in nature, and cannot function if the weapon is subject to an electromagnetic blast.
  • Short Ranged – See that “24m” up there? That’s triple the effective range of your standard Paddle Beamer, and it’s still outclassed by your average heavy blaster pistol. Or whiny fourteen year old with a slingshot, for that matter.

DESCRIPTION

Violence is not in Angel's nature. She's a Zeltron, with such strong Empathy that she can hardly bare to insult other people, let alone injure them. But at the same time, she's a smuggler - and one working for the Collective at that, a group with a penchant for making enemies, as evidenced by a certain incident on Nar Shaddaa. Regardless of whether or not she intends to hurt other people, it is a matter of fact that she will encounter people who intend to hurt her. Knowing this, and being unwilling to let her wellbeing hinge purely on her capacity for stealth, Angel commissioned a weapon from the Collective's R&D Department - one that suited her particular needs.

The result was Lullaby, a beautiful little blaster based on old Ssi-Ruuvi technology. Lullaby, as the name suggests, is designed with a much more peaceful goal in mind than your average blaster pistol - it is meant to incapacitate, rather than to kill. The needle-thin beam produced by Lullaby interferes with the target's nervous system on a local level, meaning that it has the potential to paralyze body parts, or even render targets unconscious. Of course, this means that, against inorganic targets such as droids, Lullaby is completely and utterly useless. But then again, that's what ion pistols are for.

Lullaby is powered by standard energy cells, and can fire ten shots per cell.
