Description: Built just before the fall of the infamous Jabba the Hutt in 3 aby, this lightsaber once belonged to the first Grandmaster of the New Jedi Order, Luke Skywalker. He used it from then on in place of the one he'd received from Obi-wan Kenobi and lost on Bespin during a duel with Darth Vader. It seemed to have no significant differences from the average single bladed lightsaber commonly used by Jedi except using a single synthetic crystal in place of two or more natural ones. This is most likely due to the lack of crystals available to him, as the Galactic Empire had banned such minerals from being sold or mined. This resulted in a slightly different sounding blade activation, but not much else. Master Skywalker went on to note that it "... had superior balance to his father's in his own hands." Other than these two factors, the lightsaber was no different from most other single bladed lightsabers, but its value comes from its mystique and its rich history. Many stories are contained within this seemingly unimportant piece of metal.
