Loyal Pretenders

Faith had traveled to Delaya officially it was to visit refugees, companies, and meet with the new Adminstrator now that Delaya had come back under the control of Alderaan.

She however had an ulterior motive and wanted to speak with the two people she believed would be best suited for the task at hand. But she wanted to meet with them away from court. With her now were a few of the Alderaan Royal Guard and a few members of the Wolfcat Order.

The Conference Center on Delaya was nestled in downtown Leilani and she had taken the largest of the meeting rooms overlooking the city to meet with [member="Tavi Riley"] and [member="Chekīta Kaie"] . Nothing but good things had come from her looking into their history and training. They seemed perfect.

She brushed back her dark brown hair as she stared thinking about what to say how to say it and then would they accept? They could say no, They could say yes. Time would tell.

The room felt silent she knew she was alone as the room held its breath.

Tavi rubbed the backed of his neck as he took one more time to look at the message he had received. He skimmed it over again, and shook his head. What would the Queen want with a person like himself? He understood that what she wanted was no small matter. If it had been, she could have called him into her court on Coruscant. She had opted to take a more..subtle approach. Did she know? Did she figure out that I serve another?

His brain went into overdrive at the possibility that she figured out that he did jobs for another person, his "Benefactor". He could argue that none of the jobs have endangered the FWC and its worlds. They had just involved him in taking care of some gangs, smugglers, and even slavers. Tavi opened his right hand, and worked on his thoughts while Git flew into his hand softly, and started to nudge it. Tavi focused on his thoughts, while his friend comforted him. The only sound in the elevator was the hum of the electronics taking him up, and Git's gyros turning as he moved in Tavi's hand.

No, Tavi finally decided, it couldn't be about that. The message said she had a proposition for him, one that could be accepted or refused with no repercussions.Well there is only one way to find out. Tavi said as he walked off the elevator onto the floor where the conference room was.

Secretive stuff was nothing new to Chekita, time and time again the woman would be employed by people of importance through the galaxy to either take out competition, rivals, criminals or on the more common occasion be a body guard and have to job of stopping those trying to take out competition, rivals and criminals. Though this time things where different, her new employer was [member="Faith Organa"] herself, quite an important figure that she would never though about ever meeting through such... private means.

Though not having a great idea of what was happening the mandalorian could only assumed her skills where needed for some reason. Being part of clan Awuad she held no allegiance to the Mandalorian Empire, all her mercenary job of the past being legal and her service record with the FWC, though short, was impressive. Herself serving as a member of praetorian squad under captain Derrick Veltraa in a few secretive operations. As such Chekita was rather relaxed while making the trip to the private meeting area atop of the conference center, though the size of the room made her assume quite a large groups would be coming, but so far she had failed to see another agents or individual arrive.

Tavi opened the doors to the room and entered he took the time to look over the room. He nodded his head to a strange dressed individual in the room. This sort of meeting, he felt like he would soon learn the other person’s name. He took a seat, while Git took the time to explore the room. Tavi let him. Tavi turned and examined the other individual in the room. Most likely an agent, infiltrator, or assasin....Tavi stared at her through his helmet and tilted his head in curiosity. What did the Queen have planned?

[member="Chekīta Kaie"]
[member="Faith Organa"]

Faith looked to the doors and smiled she had images of everyone that would be joining her and the Guards wouldn't allow anyone in that they had not been told to allow to pass.

"[member="Tavi Riley"] " even in his armor which was distinctive by itself, "it is a pleasure to meet you finally." Faith walked towards him with her hand outstretched, "we haven't had much time to talk before this and I apologize for that. "

As Minister of Intelligence for the Republic Faith had tried to meet with all the agents she could in the long run it had been helpful and painful. When the Sith began killing them she felt it to her core and now here she was starting that same process over again. She had three agents working in the galaxy and she was about to ask them to do something. She wasn't sure they would agree.

Ty walks up to the doors, reluctantly. After his recent membership, he was very curious to see what was in store for him beyond. He stops, and deeply exhales, before pushing open the doors.

As he took his first steps through, he felt himself fall over the cliff of chance: there was no going back now. Blood briefly filled his head, and tried to regain his co-ordination as he walks. He nervously puts his hands in his pockets, feeling the cold sweat rub into his trousers. Due to the relatively small and precise gathering, he knew something was important.

He did not speak, but even the vocoder would not hide his fear of the unknown

He stares at the other individuals, waiting for his opportunity to speak. He knew that he was needed for something important, but he could not yet figure out what it was.

Chekita idly sat down at the many tables dotting the conference room, resting her legs up on the table in a relined position, quietly humming to herself as she awaited the others, which did not take long as another individual entered the room. As always due to habit, the former body guard for hire gave the man a quick run down, dark skin, body armor, fighting seemed to be man's main job but at the same time he smelled of stealth.

Before the two could converse the door opened, revealing the queen herself and organizer for this event, [member="Faith Organa"], the woman wasting no time shaking hands with the other person, [member="Tavi Riley"] his name being apparently, probably a person of high authority, 'interesting indeed'. With hand shaking seeming to be on the agenda Chekita decided to get up from her seat, just in case the woman wanted to do a formal greeting with the more then laid back Mandalorian.

In that brief though another person had entered the room, making 4 total, though this one was much different from Chekita and Tavi, an Anomid if she recalled, and odd appearance but the more the merrier, but in all honestly that was not the only different between two. While her and Tavi where in full body armor, this new person had a much different outfit, more akin to an adventure or scavenger, 'Today just keeps getting more intriguing'.

[member="Ty Ax'lah"]

Tavi bowed his head slightly as he shook the Queen's hand, his drone Git did the same with it's shell "It is a pleasure to finally meet you my Queen. And no matter, I know you will tell me the reason about this meeting soon."

Tavi turned his head to look at the other individuals in the room, and looked at the other 2 people in the room. One was decked in full armor, wheil the other...not so much.Maybe a mercenary/mechanic? Tavi could smell an op brewing, but what kind he wondered. He doubted this meeting was about his other activities now. This didn't feel like a setup.

"Are there more...interesting individuals joining us?" Tavi said as he looked around the room again. He saw one of the individuals stand and start making her way to the Queen and himself. Tavi bowed his head as he took a step back, seeing the other person wanted to interact with the Queen.

Faith looked over to Chikita she did not know much about her but one thing, "Morutar, jate ibac gar liser olaror «Welcome, good that you could come»" Faith moved towards the young woman and extended her hand, "Chekita Kaie is that right?" She smiled.

She was certain and yet there was one more to greet before they could begin but she would do each one proper. They needed to know her face, needed to know she did not feel above them but she did have something to ask of them.

Faith wished now that the room offered more than a few furnishings. She wanted them to have some comfort when with her. Why might be asked because these were her spies the ones that put their lives in danger for information. She was preparing to ask them to do something that if caught could cost them their lives. She would greet Ty Ax'lah next.

Chekita gave a small grin under her mask as [member="Faith Organa"] greeted her in Mandaloiran, herself standing, giving the princess a firm, but delicate hand shake, "Bic cuyri jate at cuyir olar" (it is good to be here)". It was not often people greeted her in the fashion, more so a princess of a major nation, "And yes you are correct, pleasure to make your acquaintance princess Organa". It seemed a bit odd the woman was getting so personal with those present, was it a security thing, make it so she knew her agents so well no one would be able to impersonate them?

"Ah give me a second", releasing her grip from the princes Chekita removed her balaclava, brushing her hair to the side, once again looking at Faith, "Probably should have done that before comming in, and again it is good to be here, I look forward to serving your and the Free Worlds". Just one more person to got before getting down to business, though usually a straight to the point person Chekita was relatively patient with others, if Faith watned to personally greet those here she would not raise any objection.

Ty was especially curious about the gathering. He had still no clue to why he was here, but he was eager to find out.

In his usual manor, his Vo-Coder sprung into life. A crackling but firm voice says "It's good to be here, I guess. Forgive me for my forwardness, but i'm not the best with formal meetings..."

He outstretches his hand to each individual, before realizing he was still half-wearing his gloves, after one found it's way onto his hand from in his pocket. He quickly removes it, before stretching out his arm once again. "I'm guessing my identity is known... That's why I was called here". Ty's expression is mostly masked by his Vo-Coder, but his upper face expresses some form of smile.

"I'll be happy to serve in... whatever I was called for"

"Faith please call me Faith." She looked at Chekita again, then back to Tavi she was memorizing their faces. When she heard Ty's voice she looked to him, "it is all good" She grasped his outstretched hand she felt better now. She let go and turned pulling out a chair.

"You are wondering why you're here on Delaya. I know. I need you to know each other. Normally we wouldn't we'd keep everyone separate and working alone. But I've seen too many die from working alone."

There was no easy way to say some things so she was going to be direct, "The Coalition needs intel on what the Sith and the Empire are doing. We've heard rumors about things but we have no facts, nothing that we can point to and say THAT's them. I need you to become our eyes and ears in the galaxy and bring information back to us. So...tell me what you need to do this."

There she said it.

Tavi noticed as the strange woman took off her balaclava. She was an attractive individual, and she had a sort of nice lazy smile. Yet her eyes and demeanor were...off. Tavi knew that look all too well, he had seen it as enforcers for criminal organizations and veteran officers and detectives. PEople on the job for so long, they had lost a little part of themselves and became slightly...unhinged, as Tavi would call it. They performed well and were good at their jobs. In other settings though, they were a wildcard. Tavi admitted he might be unhinged also. It wasn't hard to see as he enjoyed more company with his droids than others. He lost a piece of himself a long time ago. Tavi looked away before he was caught analyzing the woman further. Time to get back to the task at hand.

Tavi breathed calmly through his mask, as he thought to himself the severity of the Queen's proposal. It was understandable, those factions were the biggest threat right now to the FWC. Thier ideas and policies....were unsettling. He liked challenges though and being useful, and what could be better than being an agent for a Queen?

"First off my Queen. Thank you for the proposal, and making it a choice for us. I would gladly assist you, and lend my services. Yet I have to ask why us? A person like you must already have spies and contacts in those two factions....right? Are we the first people your sending in?"

"Ah sure thing Faith, always good to be more casual with one another", she replied, taking on a more casual voice on the princesses request before sitting down once again, awaiting the reason for why that had been summoned to such a personal and private event. THe answer she got though was was rather, surprising, 'learning us for personal reasons because past failure, interesting but I sense another'.

Her suspicions proved true as Faith went on to talk about the Sith Empire, rumors and stuff, in her experience that was not a lot to go on, but if it was the Sith high chances it was true. More so with them being, in a military term, silent, no attacks or recent skirmished, which seemed really odd for a warmongering empire full of crazed dark side lords.

During the speech she noted the armored man looking at her with an intent stare, herself returning a more sly gaze, unsure of what he was looking for, more of just a 'I see you' look as he himself responded to the queen. "Hmm I have no problem with such an operation, Sith are always bad news, even to Mandalore, and as for other spies mister mask, did you not here her comment about 'too many dying', though it is only a hunch would I be right to assume the FWC has had some recent... losses in the spy business".

[member="Tavi Riley"] l [member="Faith Organa"] l [member="Ty Ax'lah"]

"When I was Minister of Intelligence for the Republic long ago I sent agents in and they were at first very successful. Then the tides of war changed and there were traitors in our midst, agents died." It had been sad and she had been so upset from it all. [member="Tavi Riley"]

"Around the galaxy when I travel I see it, even here at home the refugees keep coming. There's a rising evil called the Ancient Eyes, then there's the Galactic Empire who has raided us at least once, and then the Sith. You would be the first associated with the Coalition to be sent yes. But there is another group, the Resistance also looking to keep evil at bay. You would find friends among them. We must ll do our part to protect our homes, to protect the innocent."

She thought about the families coming in, the stories told it frightened her. She hated that feeling and that was why they were quietly supplying the resistance, and working with them when possible. But they had to tread carefully too much and war would find Alderaan, and the Coalition.

She looked at [member="Chekīta Kaie"] , "Yes we've had losses. There is an influence within our space that we cannot find. They too are killing our allies whatever you find out may help us find them. So the mission I ask you to take is two fold." She glanced to [member="Ty Ax'lah"]
