After a stretch of surgeries and finally getting a chance to breathe, he'd taken some much-needed time to support Jasper Kai'el Jasper Kai'el and Marissa Shoda Marissa Shoda with the little one and quiet moments that brought a strange, grounding peace he didn't know he needed. He even managed to slow down long enough to spend some quality time with Phy Phy .

But his thoughts eventually wandered.

He found himself wanting to check in on Aliris Tremiru Aliris Tremiru just to see how she was holding up. And, if time allowed, he thought he might drop by and see how Jalen Kai'el Jalen Kai'el was doing too. Even a brief visit felt important right now. He hadn't called a head of time hoping to try and track the blonde down.

Strength was a difficult thing to get back once it was lost. It wasn't easy to actually loose muscle mass it turned out, but the time Aliris had spent floating in an endless dream of a coma had absolutely weakened her limbs. She felt scrawny and wrong more often than not, but in the past few months she had been awake rebuilding that muscle had been somewhat successful.

Slow, but successful.

Even now she was working. Training in one of the empty halls of the Jedi Temple, running laps, lifting, climbing. It was routine now, and the type she'd started to enjoy. It let her be her by herself. No trying to keep others from worrying about her, no trying to hide her annoyance at how long all of this was taking.

Now pink hair had been tied into a messy bun. Dyed from the blonde she'd always had. All to differentiate herself some from the bloodline she carried, even just a little. It was easy to point Braze Braze in her direction, given how few were in the Lothal temple at the moment, and that practically everyone knew her.

Braze had been practicing, his shadowing 'skills', sharpening his wind manipulation to muffle his steps and learning to suppress his presence in the Force until it was little more than a whisper. Today, he intended to put those skills to the test.

Alirs would be his chosen 'target'.

Draped in dark robes with his hood drawn low, Braze waited patiently from a distance, studying her movements. He timed each of his own steps with hers, matching her rhythm so precisely that even the sound of his breath was lost...

When the moment felt right, he slipped closer...

Just as she took a step, he reached out and lightly tapped her shoulder from behind, only to swiftly move around and appear at her front-left instead, the opposite side of the tap. A faint, mischievous smile played at his lips as he watched her reaction.

Aliris blinked in surprise as she was tapped. She spun, more to see who had been able to sneak up on her. None of the younglings were that quiet, were they? Curiously, no one was there though. It took only a couple seconds before her cheeks reddened and she turned further to see there was, in fact, someone there. She was going to pout and get annoyed, but instead, she blinked in surprise.

Then smiled softly.

".. Well, you didn't die then."

Braze's smile widened at that. "No. It would seem not. I am a bit better now too... how are things with you? Has your endurance grown since we went cave exploring last?" Braze asked, curious to know what his friend had been up to. "You're hair's different," he chirped as that somber jade green gaze shifted up towards the pinkish-hued hair. "It's a pretty color."

"It's been getting better. I can walk and move all day without needing to rest, though I don't think I could go spelunking again without more rests needed." The memory was still there for her. Fresher for her, even. Them in that tomb they'd met in, their smiles and joy as they danced to solve the puzzle. The sting of betrayal as she took his saber.

Her expression fell just a tad at that. She was still in quite the bad place then.

"I don't want to look like her. I can't do much about my face, but, I can at least change my hair."

"Well... I don't think you look like her. But lots of people think Echani all look the same... The Echani people can tell one another apart by how every one moves and acts... your body language looks different. It's not something easily replicated and makes you distinct.... you also 'look' different through the Force. " He tried to offer in some form of consoling tone.

"I'm glad you're feeling better. I can always carry you if you ever want to go someplace that might be a little harder to reach. I never minded scooping you up. "
He offered with a smirk, perhaps being the type of person who secretly enjoyed that experience in hind sight. "What are you up to today~?" He asked with a curious tilt of his head.

Aliris blinked for a moment before her cheeks reddened just a bit. The offer to carry her wasn't something she'd expected at all, but she was quick to clear her throat and her mind of it. "I'm not that weakened now, I assure you." She didn't want to be that kind of burden as it was. She turned her gaze up towards the rope she'd been climbing, as if motioning to her success with a wave of her hand.

"Strength exercises. It's been good to get back in shape, I think."
