The Iron Lord Protector (Neutral Good)
Based on the old Mandalorian designs of Basilisk War Droids, Mechanical Drakes have became the standard aircraft and starfighter unit of Mechanus. Their appearance often varies based on what sort of role they are supposed to fulfill, from long light serpentine bodies, to large and heavy walking gunships. While usually equipped with the simple semi-sentient minds of a drone and released in great numerous swarms, some Mechanical Drakes have been known to house a mind of a more intelligent droid within them, usually some sort of a starfighter droid who wished to fly once more. Other drakes have been programmed to serve as mounts for the Lords and other droids, or had a cockpit attached to them along with flight controls to function more like a traditional starfighter.Whatever their purpose, they are still quiet common, especially around the Hidden Citadel, and are often quite heavily customized, differing based on which Lord they belong to.
