Though Ajihad is a Gurlanin, his typical form is that of a 6 foot tall human male with olive colored skin and gold-hazel with an enchanting radiance about them. He possesses a lean muscular build, but not large or bulky. Several scars run the length of his body, ranging in length from but an inch to a couple feet. His face typically holds a neutral expression, but his charming smile has a way of concealing his true nature as an assassin.

Everywhere he goes, the Sith Lord generally chooses to conceal his force signature unless he is surrounded by his fellow darksiders. His presence often conveys a sense of mystery and power to other force-sensitives or those who can feel his aura.
He is mostly seen wearing his signature gold and black assassin's armor, hood pulled over his head to cast a concealing shadow over his eyes. He is hardly ever found without a weapon of some sort, though oftentimes he will keep them concealed until he needs them for some malicious deed or other. He makes for a feared figure by his allies, and a dreaded one by his enemies.

Biography

Vi'kas Mirtis (though this was not his name at birth) grew up as a young boy on the Miraluka homeworld, where he was quickly discovered by the local authorities to be highly force sensitive. As soon as he became of age, the young boy was hastily whisked away from his parents and brought under training by the warrior-priests who sat at the apex of the caste system. He learned under their tutelage for years, discovering some of the inner workings of foresight (battle precognition), as well as developing a knack for psychometry.

He eventually approached his mentors about wanting more out of life. This they considered sacrilege, exiling him to the planet of Rattatak. He was found there by bounty hunters, who brought him to local slave lords for gladiatorial combat. After getting brief fighting lessons from other slaves, he was thrown into the pits at age 14. Through his slight advantage of the force, he managed to win his fights and impressed enough people to earn his freedom. He did not leave unscathed, though. His many narrow victories left him scarred for life both mentally and physically.

He would travel to Yavin IV with what little money he had scraped together, and joined a band of nomadic assassins roaming the planet as a way of improving himself. After witnessing his skills of battle precognition firsthand, they dubbed him "Vi'kas Mirtis", or "Prophet of Death" in the ancient Sith language. He impressed his peers by venturing into an ancient tomb and stealing an archaic vibrosword guarded by some sort of mutant beast. He managed to slay it by tricking it into impaling itself on a fallen column. Because of this exploit, he became lieutenant of the the group and increased his reputation as an efficient killer among the few locals.

One day, he encountered a crashed ship while on patrol and discovered two Jedi outside of it. One a padawan, one a disabled knight missing a hand and his left eye. He offered them hospitality while their ship was being fixed, learning the name of the padawan to be Ardeo Sophos. He formed a strong bond with the slightly younger boy, until he caught the master trying to steal an ancient tome from his collection. He caught the man by surprise, ending him with a quick blow to the neck while he was distracted by the entrance of his apprentice. He and Ardeo had a long argument afterwards, ending in their friendship being destroyed and Ardeo escaping into the night.

Soon after, the young assassin left the planet and headed for Alderaan. There, he trained under the House Rist assassins for several years. He then went to Tatooine and joined a tribe of Tusken Raiders, where he studied the infamous Sand Demons and devised his own martial art off of their movement patterns.
He eventually realized he could only train himself to a certain extent, and went off to seek the One Sith for further training.

To be continued...

Abilities

Strengths
  • Constitution- Has a hardy constitution developed from his times in the harsh environment of Rattatak, making him well-adapted to devastating environments and climates
  • Killing Machine- as a magically altered Gurlanin, he can shapeshift and has a knack for stealth-related abilities, as well as superhuman attributes
  • Intelligent- don't judge a book by its cover, Ajihad is actually rather quite smart
Weaknesses
  • Rash- just like many of his Sith brethren, Ajihad has issues controlling his temper at times. This often leads to violent and quite unnecessary action on his part.
  • Grudge- this man holds a grudge, which often clouds his judgement and can put him in harm's way
  • Arrogant- repeated victory had made him quite arrogant, making him sometimes underestimate his opponent without him consciously realizing it
