Zeradias Mant
Democracy Dies in Darkness
They had accomplished much, the Iron Empire. From a fledgling remnant of the One Sith to the cornerstone of order and stability in the Unknown Regions, Emperor Baelor had taken his people far. Though imperial in nature, there were stark differences between the traditional imperial and 'iron imperial'. The Iron Empire was not oppressive, nor did it follow in the footsteps of the One Sith. In fact, it seemed to do the opposite. Though an feudal in nature, the Crown did little at all to meddle in the affairs of it's citizens. Though absolute loyalty was expected and fealty was demanded, autonomy of local governments was observed and respected.
After enduring, after expanding, it was time the leadership of the Iron Empire to formally join heads and both reflect on the past and plan for the future. At a small table in the hold of their liege sat the CNO, Zeradias Mant, and the Iron Praetor, Gaius Aurelius. Making little small talk as they waited, Zeradias flashed through his holopad examining the agenda he had prepared. He didn't expect to hit everything, but to cover any of the points prepared would have been productive.
ORDER OF BUSINESS
1) Recognition for service and valor in campaigns to date and going forward
2) Relocating the capitol from Csilla to Arondight
3) Diplomacy with other galactic powers
4) Possibility of war and emergency contingencies
5) Open forum|
After an unmoving nod of approval, the heavy metal door opened, with the emperor himself making entry. The two senior advisors rose from their seat to face the emperor, though neither bowed.
There was much to be discussed today.
