Looking for Kujo on Lujo [OS Dominion of Lujo]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTxOTOBZ9Uo

The Right Hand, like it was so often to do, exited hyperspace to draw the planet into view of the screen upon bridge. Gabriel, just as always, sat before the view hoisted in his seat made of metal and cords and upon blood and bone. It was a thing, a vessel, that had carried him to the death of many people across the universe. And especially so, recently, upon the precipice of so many going missing and lost through the confines of space. Where they went, he didn't both to consider. Those were the thoughts reserved for men with skinny arms. Not to say that he couldn't philosophize and strategize, but it was difficult to write upon parchment with hands dipped so deep in carnage and gore.

Dismounting from the seat, he stood and walked slowly down the stairs that would invariably lead him to his destination: directly next to the helmsmen. Despite his thoughts towards the man, this Durant, he had far more in positive notions towards the man and his efficacy in directing such large vessel across the infinite space and time. It was something to behold, especially for a man who could hardly pilot his own Star Viper.

Grabbing the communications device, he spoke calmly across the soundwaves, leading all those who would follow him in this conquest.

::One Sith Forces. We are claiming this planet as the embassy planet for our alliance with the Fringe. You are being forwarded our objectives for this planetary interaction. Speak with your pilot, pick your poison, and I'll see you planet side.::

With that, he was off. His objective: likely to assist in establishing the initial colonization. Nothing like stomping out old civilizations, in the wake of new, to make him all tingly and happy. That walk down the hallway, one done often, he completed in haste.

Lujo Objectives:
1. Establish initial colonization of planet for One Sith
- Help initialize construction of One Sith Temple and home base. Use the basis of former temples and dilapidated ruins as the foundation, to help merging our community and hierarchy with native habitat. (not fringe temples)

2. Develop new clean energy reservoirs across the planet, taking advantage of untapped resources
- Tidal energy systems (large ocean systems)
- Wind Farms (in open plains)
- Natural Gas Power grids (throughout the planet)
- Geothermal (collector technology replicated from Sarapin)
- etc.

3. Study native flora and fauna, to help assess the viability of partially vong forming on the planet. Wetlands can be individually isolated and vong formed for vonduun crab critical habitat, without disrupting natural areas.

4. Help construct a One Sith/Fringe embassy for trade and alliance discussions.

Objective: Help construct a One Sith/Fringe embassy for trade and alliance discussions
When she had been assigned to construct the Sith temple on Erida six years ago, a breakdown in communications had occurred in regards to the materials she had requested to be delivered to the planet. She was younger then and was prone more to outbursts than she was now. She had been forced to scour that planet for resources to fill in the gaps of the supplies she wouldn't be receiving. However, the grey cloud had a silver lining. She had discovered deep inside a cavern an ancient ruins that not only was in possession of the resources she needed, including the salvaged materials from the ruins when she ordered the engineers to dissect it, but three tomes inscribed in a language unknown to her; an adventure for another time. The temple had been completed on time.

Darth Venefica, with three engineers on her heels, walked through the rows of materials on the transport vessel with a manifest held tight in her hands. When she checked off the material on her manifest, the three engineers would check theirs and when everything lined up, checked theirs off as well. This project held great importance between the One Sith and the Lords of the Fringe. This embassy she was tasked to help build would help solidify an alliance between the two powerful factions.

The first round of inspections had been completed. "We shall do this again," she said to the trio of men assigned to this project, "Failure is not an option. Delays and set backs will not go unpunished....are we clear?" By the engineers agreeing with her, they had now took full responsible for any delays. "After we finish this inspection...we move on to the labour force." She was leaving nothing to chance.

For once, Valtryx would not be going onto a planet to mass-murder in the name of the Sith. A funny idea, one she thought would never come to happen, but it turned out they needed this planet more intact and working rather than war-torn and dead. Still, the Sith Knight was here to do her duty for the One Sith. While she would not be actively involved in building anything, she convinced herself she would watch over some workers, making sure things ran smoothly. Deep down she hoped they would be met with some form of opposition; rebels, bandits, anything. But that was just her murderous instinct talking, in reality she could managed ordering workers around.

With that reassuring thought in mind, her drop ship departed the Sith's main ship, making it's way down to the planet surface. In the back of it, along with her, was a group of specialized builders and engineers. Around thirty of them. She knew nothing of the technicalities of their jobs, but she was determined to ensure they got the job done. Preferably alive.

As they all talked among themselves about various structural equations and other boring jargon Valtryx couldn't even begin to understand, the Sith Knight couldn't help but focus her thoughts on her future child. What would it's gender be? Would it become a powerful Sith, as much as Valtryx herself hope to become?
Only time would tell...

Melori was finding the subject on the Vong more and more fascinating and so immediately sought her sister when the prospect of travelling to Lujo came up. She expected - no she demanded - her sister take part so she could accompany her and find out more about the organism used to shape the vonduun crab armor suits of the Yuuzhan Vong. This time she'd even done her research up front.

She'd learned that the bafforr trees of the planet Ithor could be used against the vonduun crab armor, as the crab was allergic to the pollen produced by the tree. Apparently this reaction would cause the vonduun crab to swell, killing the crab and anyone wearing it. However the positive was that Vonduun crab armor was protected by the same energy field that an amphistaff carried, generated by a power gland. For this reason, it could withstand the atomic-diameter edge of an amphistaff, and even a lightsaber.

She was so hyper by the time she pitched up to her sister, she was not going to take no for an answer.

One of these days, she'd have to ask Reverance about getting set up with her quarters on the ship. It was a giant of a vessel anyway, and considering how much time she spent traveling on it, Vrag might as well get her own room. That wasn't too much to ask, was it? Well, only time would tell. In any case, they were soon heading down to the planet, so any questions she might have would have to wait until later. You know, when they were done slaughtering whatever populace remained after the Netherworld and the whole unholy mess that followed. Eesh. The Knight shuddered at the memory of waking up to a ghost city and rechecked her armor just in case. You could never be too sure with these things.

She was leaning on the wall of the elevator, fiddling with her plate as the doors hissed again, and a familiar presence filled the small space. "Hey," she gave the man a nod without looking up, fingers still busy with a clasp that refused to hold. "Fething..." the woman muttered under her breath, retracting her visor so she could lean closer to the annoying piece of technology on her left arm. Too many battles, it seemed, would do a number even on the quality armor of the One Sith.

"It's not like we're expecting trouble, right?" the Knight said, more to herself than to the Wrath, and finally stopped what she was doing as a small sound let them know they'd arrived in the hangar. Her feet moved of their own volition as they traced a familiar path through the dock, and the woman absently wondered if her fuel tank was actually full. Well, if there was some less than happy welcoming party awaiting on the ground, she could check soon enough.

Another planet soon to be under Sith control. However this particular takeover had no glory to be had, no battle, nothing. They were building temples and constructing power plants. Two things he had no interest in. So rather then that, he set off to 'study the wildlife'. It was the most appealing, though it was only minimally so, of the options. They planned on vogforming the planet.. Khan shudered slightly at the thought. Using the place to create the disgusting living technology the Yuuzhan Vong used. However, that was the best objective out of his choices.

Khan stepped down the lamp of the small landing craft he took to the surface, looking over the small plain it had landed in. A forest grew up to the east, a pair of small deer-like creatures watching the ship hesitantly from a distance. The Felactian sighed, hoping the next planet the One Sith conquered would have something important for him to do, rather than simply birdwatching...

Objective: Help construct a One Sith/Fringe embassy for trade and alliance discussions
The preparations now completed, it was time to begin shipping both the materials and the labourers down to Lujo. She had elected to bring Nightshade Company along to act both as security for the site and to keep watch over the labourers. Most of her work force consisted of ex-soldiers, disgruntled citizens, and some politicians from the Sith's conquered worlds. Sabotage and laziness would be her biggest concerns but she was not above making examples of dissidents. If the need for punishment was called for, she would personally see to that herself. Killing them would not prove her pointe but a few broken fingers here and there or installing fear could go along way. If some of them proved to be unwilling to see the errors of their ways, then relocation to another Sith labour camp ran by a less patient person than herself would take place.

"We have been cleared for departure," the pilot of the vessel she was on said to her. One last time she went over everything in her mind. The materials, check. The site, check. The design and schematics, check. Supplies such as food and shelter for all those involved in the project, check. Security in place, check. Construction vehicles and droids, check. Everything was ready.

"Proceed with the flight plan," she answered before buckling herself in the seat next to the pilot. The worst part of all this, the flying.

There was that face again. He titled his head to the side as he waved her free hand away and strapped the buckle down on the gauntlet, securing it to her hand and forearm. "No, this is old Fringe territory, we will likely see very little conflict." He inspected the strap and stepped away, eyeing the armor. "But I imagine you likely go grocery shopping in that thing..." The black armor was polished and well kept, as any armor should be. Though it was blackened, often a technique to prevent rust from accumulating, the metal tended to wear so coating of oil was still beneficial. And sweat needed to be often wiped away after use, to prevent evaporation and deterioration of the metal. All things to consider, when one was so attached to their armor.

Smiling as he left the elevator, he expected she would walk with him, as they were headed for the same planet. "We will treat this as the planet for which we strengthen our relationship with the faction. As it currently stands, we share multiple enemies, and it's put us in a good position to work out our differences."

He stepped up on to the dropship, waiting for Vrag to join him. "But before we do that, we will establish our initial point of departure...a base and temple for the Sith, built upon the ruins of old and long removed civilizations."

Her ship landed not far from the Sith operation, she could see the many ships and slaves that were being used to build the embassy. She shuddered as she watched the operation in motion. It was like a dark dance. There were troops and slaves in motion at all times. She had no doubt that some of those slaves had come from some of the worlds that she had helped conquer for the Sith. she wanted to be upset about the fate of those suffering, but she understand how the galaxy worked. Strength was rewarded, failure was punished. She learned that lesson many years ago, before she was a member of the Sith; before she was a bounty hunter or a survivor, she was little more than a slave herself. She had survived by growing stronger, waiting until she knew that her master was weak... and then cutting his head off. She had survived that, and she would survive this. The Sith wanted power, she would prove to them she could be powerful.

She moved forward with a purpose, approaching the first guard she came across. " Take me to see [member="Darth Venefica"]. I am here to help build this embassy"

When the man moved forward to secure the strap, Vrag was too dumbfounded to recoil in time, barely keeping her jaw from hitting the floor. The hell? By the time she recovered from the unexpected gesture, Reverance was already done and leaning against the wall again.

"What," she stumbled over the word like a confused teenager, angrily shaking her head at her herself. "I… yeah, okay, that's great." Fething feth, the woman grumbled internally as she crossed her arms defensively over her chest, blue eyes peering suspiciously at the one-eyed man.

She followed him at a good distance as they exited the elevator, still eyeing him warily, half expecting him to do something odd again. She was ready to slap his hands away this time, however, and the initial shock had mostly evolved into a general tension that had her muscles coiled uncomfortably. If she were capable of stepping back and looking objectively at herself in that moment, Vrag would have surely laughed at the absurdity of the situation; there she was, jarred by a casual, harmless action. A woman who could kill hundreds and then sit down to have lunch, upset by something as… quotidian as that?

She nodded absently at the words streaming from the Stih Lord's mouth, still trying to gather her scattered thoughts for whatever awaited them planetside. With a final huff, the armored Knight decided to pull on her reserves of denial for a few more days, just so they finishing conquering the last of the worlds marked for the taking. She could question her faltering sanity after they were done intimidating the Galaxy.

"Nothing like erasing a civilization, eh?" the woman let out a humorless chuckle as she retreated behind the safety of her darkened visor once more. The dropship rumbled beneath their feet, and then they were off to do what they did best again.

Once more, with feeling.

The Dagobah Sith watched with close observation as the proceedings were taking place. Everything was going smoothly and this pleased her greatly. The engineers and labourers had begun laying the foundation for the workers housing structures. This was key to their happiness. If the workers were shown gratitude by having a place both comfortable and catered to their individual needs, then they would work harder and with less desire to rebel. She incorporated this tactic back when she constructed the Sith temple back on Erida and the results were astounding.

Standing in her traditional pose, legs slight apart and her hands clasped behind her back, she caught a glimpse of a soldier with a Twi'lek walking toward her. "Ma'am," the soldier said getting her full attention, "The woman has asked to be brought to you. She says she is here to help." Darth Venefica waved the soldier away and took a step back looking the Twi'lek up and down. "Tell us....what is it you wish to help with?"

The dropship's repulsor lifts kicked into action, gently allowing it to descend to the planet's floor. With a sigh the Sith Knight rose, gesturing with a lazy arm for the workers to depart the ship. They did so with haste once the ship's door had opened, and behind them followed the unenthusiastic Valtryx. "Right, get to work then." She ordered, turning her gaze to the distant emptiness of the land. Her hand dropped to her belt, retrieving a small datapad and forcing it in front of her face. Scrolling along various menus, she finally reached the one she was looking for. She had no love for building or architecture, but reading what the feth they were building here might at least save her from ultimate boredom.

Some form of Sith Temple seemed to be the mission for her workers. Nothing grand, and certainly not the central temple. It was bad enough she was here with no opposition, finding out it was for one lesser temple only made things worse...

She was escorted to where [member="Darth Venefica"] was at, she could feel the chaos rolling of of her; what made the woman more unsettling to be around was her apparent calm, the conflicting feelings Nyrrea got were down right scary. She looked around at the construction going on, the workers were busy building some kind of building, she guessed it was a barracks of some kind, judging by the layout of the foundation she saw. She nodded her head slightly as she was appraised and questioned. " I am here to help in whatever capacity you require." she responded while looking Veneficia directly in the eyes. She needed to project strength here, she was dealing with a Darth and knew what were weakness would get her. She glanced over at the slaves toiling away and refused to allow herself to end up like that.

A blush, he couldn't help but grin. He had never seen a firrerreo embarrassed, perhaps he had gone too far in assisting with her armor. Then again, it stemmed purely from his own use with armor. Tossing and turning in the mirror, even his War-Torn was difficult to don without assistance. And that only covered the arm, heaven forbid he wear any form of more suitable armor. Mentally shrugging, he punched the wall of the hull three times. The secret code, as it were, as the pilot powered the ramp closed and the thrusters kicked on.

"We've become quite good at it, haven't we?" Numerous planets had fallen in their wake and despite what jokes the Wrath had in store for this Sith Knight, the Lady of Pain, she had become an invaluable resource for the One Sith and their bloody progression through the universe. She was rather talented at it, the bloody part, especially with the absence or molestation of the force. Such individuals were a commodity to be valued. He smiled as the vehicle lifted off the ground, moving through the folding particle shields. "But that's not our purpose today."

He watched, through crimson sight, the overlapping mesh of blue that protected the innards of the immortal from the outside vacuum of space. "The location of the base will be on old ruins. We're going to avoid erasing anything. Use those fists for building, not destroying..." Though he enjoyed the spectacle when given the chance, the opportunity to watch and soak. The dropship took off in a blast of energy, headed towards the planet once claimed by the Lord of the Fringe.

'No' takes many forms, and Melori knew how to ignore each and every one of them. She left a note for her sister, [member="Darth Arcanix"], and headed for Lujo. If her Master was able to attend, she would no doubt join her, but Melori's interest in the Vong was sufficient for her to simply jump on the shuttel heading for the planet and see what she could do.

Like the other planets she'd visited, she felt her input was minimal and this angered her. But at least out of her sister's skirts, she was free to do things that might otherwise be disapproved of.

So she followed a fellow Acolyte off the shuttle and saw as he surveyed the plain in front of them. She followed his gaze ot the east - where a forest grew and decided to simply walk up and introduce herself. "Melori Rae," she said, somewhat succinctly. "What precisely are we to do here." She added the word precisely to mitigate the fact she was essentially saying she had no idea. Now it sounded as though she had a vague idea. Not good, but better.

Khan turned slightly as [member="Melori Raaf"] stepped down the ramp behind him. The Felactian looked her up and down briefly, as if deciding what to think of her- or gauging her worth- before speaking. "Khan Ra." At her question, Khan looked back towards the wood, blinking at the furry deer-like creatures that had returned to grazing. Honestly, he had little idea on what to do either... Study wildlife? He suppose they would be looking for something worth 'vongforming'... something violent, or with natural armor. Something that could be turned into a monster. "We search for predators."

With that, Khan stepped into the forest.

She gave him an absent nod, but her thoughts were elsewhere, the woman still more than a little guarded from Reverance's little expedition in her personal space. It would be quite amusing, really, if it hadn't happened to her. As it was, however, the firrerreo wasn't entertained in the slightest, and the set jaw and the grim line of her mouth certainly reflected that. Too bad nobody but the inside of her visor could see it, though.

Perking up at the follow-up, Vrag was brought out of her ruminations when the Sith Lord said something she'd never thought she'd hear come from him, of all people. "We're… not?" the surprise bled into her voice somewhat, but without quirked eyebrows or widened eyes, there wasn't much to go on. Boy, did she ever love her helmet.

"Building, eh?" she grabbed an overhead bar as the dropship shot towards the planet below, her stance barely shaken by the sudden launch. She glanced downwards at her free hand, spreading the armor-clad fingers as if the digits could somehow answer the questions in her mind.

Can I?

Vrag looked back up again with a certain pride to her back, and a small grin pulled at the corner of her mouth. "Let's get this show on the road, then," she said and moved past him towards the descending ramp. "I won't know until I try, yeah?" With that, the armored Knight set foot on the soil of Lujo, the first planet that wouldn't cry and burn beneath her gentle touch. Lucky bastard, eh? She was sure that Eclipse, its closest neighbor, was looking over with jealously glimmering in its atmosphere, wondering what it had done wrong.

Or maybe she was going crazy. Who knows?

He followed the tall warrior woman down the ramp, listening to her verbally assuage to the notions of building instead of destroying. It was a complex process for some, the act of reversing polarity mid stride, in the middle of thought towards the opposite. He had watched Vrag wreck shop on a number of occasions, planets across the galaxy falling victim to her brutality and strength. And while he knew there was a more sincere and, dare he say it, delicate side to her, it was often masked in a sort of harshness and that hulking armor. Yes, the armor he helped her with it, move along.

The dropship was one of many to set to down on Lujo. The others were accompanied by construction workers and laborers and non battle hardened individuals. They begin to dismount from their transport, carrying tools and the like. Several drop ships, descending from The Conquerors Ring that was just now entering low atmosphere, carried supplies alone. Vehicles came about, packed to the brim with foundation constructs, including tools needed for the development of the sith home base. But Gabriel, he had mind towards something else.

Having become the recent benefactor of nearly 8 million credits, as well as being a large proponent of the One Sith, Gabriel had nearly limitless funds for whatever resources he needed. So he had taken it upon himself to begin amassing large amounts of alcohol, warehouses filled with a stock that seemed to be never ending. His plan, something a bit more...casual in purpose. Seeing as though this was former Fringe territory, it made sense as the perfect location to bolster the alliance. He walked over towards a crate and popped it open, calling Vrag over to his location. She might come, she might not. She had boughts of stubbornness, from time to time.

"Menkooro Whiskey...it's auburn from the casks used for the aging." He pulled a bottle from the crate and dusted it off, obviously reserve stock. It was then that the glass workers began to land and moved with purpose, setting up initial encampments. As they were going to be here for quite some time, working on the monastery. At least, that was the plan for now...things had a way of shifting to fit needs.

All things considered, the Voices had made a wise move when they'd forbidden the reclamation of Fringe temples. In point of fact, Lujo's primary significance to the Fringe had been a temple, a sprawling affair without much to recommend it. It had never been central to Fringe training programs. Its presence had been strategic, but that strategy had required little more than presence.

And a hyperwave SIGINT transceiver with the range and decrypt capability to eavesdrop on traffic as far as Duro.

Selka had no rank within the Fringe, but in another life she'd officiated at the wedding of a High Councilor and a Grand Admiral. In this one, she'd assisted in the creation of the Deicide Oculus. And, very recently, she'd personally recovered two hundred thousand Fringe clone troopers, at varying stages of growth, from the facilities on Khomm. She'd earned her bona fides with their allies. Enough for access to the SIGINT facility? Feth no. But enough to be allowed to facilitate the transceiver's removal? It seemed so.

She was used to being appraised and maybe one day she'd be the one doing the 'looking up and down.' But for now she endured it. It seemed there was no 'I' in team but there was in winner, so she listened and got the distinct impression the other Sith had little more idea than she had.

So she chose not to follow him, but merely travel in the same direction a short way behind him. But looking at plants and animals - and without using the Force, seemed to be something they should be assigning troopers to, not Sith. But she shrugged and sighed and headed over to where the Felacatian was headed. She suspected he found the task no more interesting - but she applied her new found knowledge of the Vong to the task in hand and wondered if her sister would join her at some point.

So she checked her blaster and kept her wits about her as she followed - OK, she was following him - Khan Ra. And she knew she was looking for things that could be potentially manipulated by the shaper caste - like the vornskrs that were transformed into voxyn. So she sighed loudly to get her mind back in focus and started to show a genuine interest. If she was going to be here, she may as well provge useful.
