LFG Looking for a business partner

Hey everyone,

So a little while ago a pal of mine and I got together and created a simple concept for some new characters. We started our adventure on a different community, but, life did its thing and we just didn't have the spare time. Them the breaks right? But lets be real, life is important so neither of us were upset.

Well, I'm sort of done with that community for awhile and really want to build in a different community and meet some new writers. So, I would like to bring my character over and start over and I was wondering if anyone (or anyones) would be 'invested' (autocorrect play with 'interested' haha) in partnering up.

The concept was simple, we wanted to start a cantina.

I was going to play a Shistavanen, while he was going to (initially) play a Bothan and then switched to a different species - one as equally physically opposing (you reallt didn't want to start anything when your hosts were two physically imposing lads.) Honestly, species doesn’t actually matter. You can play anything. I just thought it was amusing.

We had planned to setup in a spaceport and we had used Kal'Shabbol has our place of refuge.

That's just a history, not concrete, just wanted to pass on what it was planned. This concept can be played with of course, however, if allowed I'd still want to play a Shistavanen, I just think it would be unique.

What we'd do, we'd create our characters and try and figure out how they know each other and how this idea came to be. Example was, our characters were fighters and maybe, just maybe one was out to kill the other but they became pals... maybe because they gave each other one heck of a fight.

Our plan was simple, just have fun. Doing something so basic, so civilian, so... not heroic. Granted, we had plans to at least make it a little more exciting, for example, my character thought about krayt steaks and would have eventually put together a hunt for a krayt dragon. Let's be honest, a cantina needs stocks of food, drinks, ingredients, and so on to be unique and promising. These fellows weren't planning on sticking to wholesale, instead, they'd source ingredients directly!

If anyone wanted to, our story would start with us getting into this dingy, long forgotten hole. We'd get to do some relationship and character building and the first thread would end with a name for the establishment. And then, onwards!

So, anyone up for owning a cantina and try and make it a hot spot in the galaxy? Even in chaos, who doesn’t like to sit down, slow down, have a drink and a good meal? The galaxy has lots of problems, but in this one hour... forget your troubles with good food, good company, and a good drink? The killing will still be there when you leave.

If anyone is interested, respond here or message me on Discord (same name) and I'd love to chat and brainstorm! I'm not opposed to having more than 1 buisness partner - just pitching and seeing the response!

JUST A QUICK NOTE:
I don't want to start right away and here's why...

This week, I will be home and will be able to check the boards, and follow this thread.

Next week, I'll be away from home and won't be checking the message boards, but I will have my phone and will respond to Discord.

The week after that, I'm on my way to Europe for a vacation. I won't be checking my phone or message board.

This 3 week absence is not my normal, I am usually active if I've got threads on the go and get to them 24 - 48 hours from when I read, at least that's my goal anyways. I will always communicate with my partners - no matter the thread or character being used.

I'm including this because, I want to be open and transparent. I don't want to start something (like an opening thread) just to leave you hanging high and dry. That's not fun.
