- Born in Kurs'taylir. Youngest of chieftain's children. Skilled marksman, didn't mesh well with siblings. Left the Mandalorian lifestyle at sixteen for an offworld girl.
- Attended college at the university of Old Kuat. Entered the work force working under Kuat Drive Yards as upper management.
- Married at twenty. Estranged from family. Wife is bitter toward Loken's old way of life, helps to sever final ties with his father.
- Loken's wife becomes pregnant. Couple is ecstatic. The pregnancy is later terminated after a speeder accident.
- Wife is adulturous, Loken learns of this. Couple officially separates. Mandalore undergoes its latest cataclysm.
- 98% of Tal'verda wiped out during the cataclysm. Loken quits job and returns home. Assists in restoration efforts whilst looking for surviving family.
- Wife sends Loken divorce papers. Loken refuses to sign them, and instead signs on with the newly formed military of the Mandalorian Empire.
- Tal'verda: Loken hails from the frozen north of Mandalore, as has the rest of his clan for generations. He thrives in the tundra, and is as much a survivalist as he is a soldier.
- Loyal: Kurs'taylir and the vast majority of its inhabitants were murdered during the cataclysm of Mandalore. Such actions have helped to secure a deep disdain for traitors in Loken's heart, as well as the die hard loyalty that comes when a man devotes his entire life to an organization.
- Deserter: While never declared Dar'Manda, Loken left the Mandalorian way of his own accord. Though he is a gung-ho loyalist now, he has the capacity to live outside of his people's way of life. Whether this will be a problem in the future remains to be seen.
- Outsiders Are Ignorant: Loken left his family for an outsider. Doing so proved to be one of the hardest decisions of his life; staying with her after Mandalore's fall was even harder. The infidelity that followed shattered Loken's reality, leaving him with nothing save for the purity and honesty that his old life provided. His distrust for the aruetiise is paramount.
- Misogyny: Mandalorians judge by one's actions rather than the circumstances of their birth. Unfortunately Loken has spent far too much time alone to stew in his thoughts, and such thoughts often turn to his wife's betrayal. He tends to expect the worst out of women, whether they have given him any reason to or not.
- Marksman: Loken has always been an excellent shot. He shines brightest when tasked with hunting down specific targets, or serving on scouting details.
