Description: The Harpoon-class General Purpose Warhead Launcher is perhaps best thought of as an upscaled version of the classic M-g-2 general purpose warhead launcher. This launcher provides the same versatility in ordinance options as that weapon, but on a heavy capital ship warhead scale. Each LLT-18 consists of a large missile tube that this fed by a pair of rotating rack of ordinance chambers not unlike a modern day revolver cylinder loaded with cartridges. Each ordinance chamber uses adjustable duraplast supports stabilize the projectile. It also allows for a variety of shapes and sizes of munitions to be carried. To fire, once the ordinance chamber is aligned with its exit point, a tractor pressor at the back of the launcher pushes the warhead out of the launcher in manner not unlike a http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Catapult_pressor[/FONT]]catapult pressor. This also allows ordinances to be fired that do not have their own engines, such as proton bombs or space mines, or warheads that have engine malfunctions. If the projectile has a motor of its own, it ignites after it is launched from the projectile.
