The cooling coils present along the barrel of the rifle utilize plas-bonded ostrine, meant to immediately reduce heat after firing, with effectiveness of this decreasing the more the weapon is fired in short periods of time. The idea is to prevent excessive heating and warping of the barrel, as well as to prevent overheating and injury to the person using it. This addition also prolongs the lifespan of the blaster rifle.

- While the E-11 is famed for its 100 meter optimal (effective) range and its maximum range nearing three hundred meters, the LK-C-001 boasts a twenty-percent increase in overall range, accuracy, and precision over its inspiration at the sacrifice of nearly two hundred shots. Due to the increased range, precision, and so on, the rifle is only capable of firing a maximum of three hundred shots, with the power cell lasting only every eighty-five shots, versus the E-11 that could handle five-hundred total shots with a similar power cell capacity of one hundred shots.
Description:
Designed, built, and operated by one Lisette Kuhn, the LK-C-001 is meant to be a spiritual successor, and better alternative, to the E-11. Each shot boasts an effective range reaching upwards one hundred and twenty meters distance, a twenty-percent increase over the E-11, while draining a little bit more blaster gas and power cell juice than the standard E-11 might. This increase of range has a trade-off of total shots per cell and canister, with the blaster gas lasting three hundred shots and the power cell needing to be swapped out every eighty-five shots.
As a safeguard from overheating and to prevent barrel-warping, a set of plas-bonded ostrine cooling coils encircle the barrel in order to immediately cool the weapon down after each shot - something most starfighters and capital ships employ to prevent barrel warping from the immense heat of turbolasers and laser cannons. Only a handful of these blasters have been produced, as they are solely for the use of the eldest Kuhn daughter.
