And where were the spiders
Dealing with Sasha was something else. Marek really didn’t mind her. One of the few women in the galaxy that he respected. Add in his assistant Alana and Danger Arceneau and that may be the entire list. But now their two agents got them working on some sort of joint project. Not that Marek was going to mind… [member="Sasha Santhe"] was… well she was a bit of a terror to deal with and he knew that, but Santhe had more industry to swing around than Bright Star did.

And the funds seemed to have come from both companies for this Bantha burger expedition or whatever. Hopefully she knew what was going on. Looking up from his datapad, a few pieces of flimsiplast on the table in front of him, and a pencil in his hand. “So… they want us to buy banthas… for what?”

He invited her over to Bright Star One, because, well, he controlled the environment here. And that meant a lot for him. Walking over to his personal stores of liquor, he pulled out two rocks glasses. “Drink?” What did she drink? Why was he forgetting that?

Vodka –cranberry, probably. All girls did.

As always he had some of the latest electro-pop music on, could always switch it to down tempo, but Marek preferred the more excited music, even for one-on-one meetings. Hell, he lived in a casino.

[member="Marek Starchaser"] was a different sort of company man, operating out of a Casino Ship instead of proper offices. Still there was an appeal to all the pomp and flare of meeting out of a casino. Sasha wore a pretty little blue dress festooned with jewels that showed off just enough leg via a slit on the right side and hung tight to her frame. “Please,” she said looking at the bar and accepting the offer for a drink, “Corellian Whiskey.” The stuff would be harder to come by soon enough. Sasha smiled before commenting, “We never really have just drank socially have we?” It was true enough it was always business, even when it wasn’t. She remembered the incident when testing out new stealth systems and how she’d kissed Marek to distract him from awkward questions, questions that didn’t matter now that he was part of the Tionese inner circle. “We could you know… go to a club, or perhaps dinner?” She avoided Mareks question about Banthas. Truth was she had no clue what Emerald and Jenn were up to. Emerald had a plan, no doubt, she was a deep thinker.

Still she didn’t want to admit to Marek she didn’t know what they were planning. “The cost is inconsequential. For these Bantha Ranches. Even if all the girls do is clear out these Bantha Rustlers and flip the properties we probably wouldn’t lose much.”

This was pretty simple. Marek enjoyed the way he lived. Live the nights that you will remember, and the nights you won't remember, but only if they give you proper stories out of it. And that was what he was hoping for. Most nights he lived? There were stories to follow. And well, any time with [member="Sasha Santhe"] was time well spent, even if she was merely someone to glare at. On top of her business prowess. But right now he was trying to not focus on her legs, or figure. And the task at hand.

Booze.

Booze always helped.

And now she was making it even more tricky. “Sasha Santhe, are you asking me on a date?” Not that he would turn it down. But a social call with her? Away from the Hegemony? That probably would do them both some good. He waited for her answer as he poured the drink for her, stepping over and handing it off.

“Nah, they both know what they're doing, for sure. But I'm wondering if we can capitalize on it. Between Santhe and Bright Star.”

Sasha let out a little sigh as she stared back at [member="Marek Starchaser"]. Her hand ran down her side smoothing an invisible wrinkle in her dress by her leg. The hand rubbed back and forth as her fingers played at the slit in her dress brushing gently against flesh. And then she waved a small little wave.

“I have followed your eyes,” Sasha said. “Not just now, and today, but nearly every meeting we’ve had. You think a woman is blind?”

Sasha downed the Corellian Whiskey quickly taking the entire glass’s content with a single gulp. “Besides, it could be fun. A night out on the town.”

Yeah. Okay. Maybe he was being his typically hedonistic womanizing self. But could anyone blame him? Look at [member="Sasha Santhe"]. She cut a wonderful figure and knew what she was doing about herself. An attractive bit of business in Marek's mind.

"Yeah I mean, couldn't be a bad night. Depends what tabloids you get me into." Being the CEO of a casino and resort company, he was known to take a plethora of people home. And the paparazzi followed.

"I do know a nice bar or seven." He grinned, downing his drink and holding the bottle out to her.

[member="Marek Starchaser"] seemed every bit a shy little boy suddenly. It was cute really. “You can’t do better than that?” Sasha said with a laxidasical expression. She let her leg slip out from the slit in her dress exposing nearly the entirety of it. “A bar?” Shaking her head she laughed, “How about whining and dining me? Or taking me away for a weekend to a resort. Its my understanding you own a few.” Leaning back in her chair she let out a big sigh, “A nice trip to a beach where I could just relax. That would be nice.”

Corey's OOC

And where were the spiders
A shy boy? Marek Starchaser? Not so much. He was pretty open about everything, from who he was with, to what they were, to how they acted and what they did. Simple, and open. He knew who he was, why did he need to hide it, right? Exactly. Wining and dining? Thats what [member="Sasha Santhe"] wanted?

“I own quite a few. Several restaurant chains operate nearly exclusively in my resorts... And we've got a few tropical based ones. Fringe and otherwise. Though, I am looking to... erm... erect a few more resorts.” Right, staring.

“But you are kind of done workin', ain't ya?” He smirked at her, refilling his glass.

Sasha smiled. [member="Marek Starchaser"], life did throw some curveballs. Still she could think of worse ways to spend a short vacation. “Pick the resort with the best reviews, and reserve us the best room. Something with a nice view.” It was a plan. Although the prospect of being away from her research wasn’t the most appealing idea the concept of visiting a resort and getting to relax was attractive. “Of course,” she said coyly, “you’d have to arrange for two rooms.” Sasha liked to tease. “Anything else would be untoward.”

Corey's OOC

Great, so he was paying? And a resort. Best view. He already had a few in mind. And one he wouldn't mind purchasing from the owner. Of course he was going to pay. He shook his head and smirked. But that was when the addendum of two rooms showed up. “You want them adjacent?” He laughed and shook his head.

Stepping to his terminal, he booted up the galaxy map and pulled into the Outer Rim, not too far from Tion and Lianna, he was looking for the right world. The Bright Star liners were shown, their flight paths lain out, as well as the resorts, mostly in and around the Tion worlds, and Abrion worlds. A few popping up in the Fringe.

“Pick a corner of the galaxy.”

"Anywhere?" Sasha asked as she looked at the galaxy map. This was perfect, she had manouvered the man exactly where she had wanted him. There was a resort she knew of, a place she'd been meaning to visit. Marek provided the perfect vessel to bring her there, and cover for her activities. And really who would suspect Sasha Santhe anyways? "Dorumaa," she said with a smile. "it's a wonderful moon, terroformed to be a resort." and now to throw Marek off the scent, "And adjacent rooms would be acceptable. Preferable really. I might have need for a late night stroll and the more room the better really."

Corey's OOC

And where were the spiders
And he had to speak up. Marek, you should know better, giving the woman the controls of a trip? Even for you, its [member="Sasha Santhe"]. She can probably outspend anyone, especially on a terraformed moon. Which... smart idea, perhaps a sort of Tion collab to make money? Some day, table it off.

Media first.

Shaking his head as he looked at her, he couldn't help but laugh. “Yeah, yeah, adjacent rooms. So you don't have to hurry down the hall in case of an attack.” Because, girl. Dark Jedi, but whatever, Marek was a gentleman, or something. When it served him.

Which, when did it, really?

And so it was that Sasha Santhe and [member="Marek Starchaser"] set off on a…. VACATION!

It wasn’t a long trip, a Santhe Challenger taking them there in style. The resort was, in a word, beautiful. There was tranquil beaches and idyllic scenes. Tranquil blue seas for swimming. Sure there was giant sea monsters in the water, but that didn’t really matter because the majority of tourists stayed close to shore. “Well Marek,” Sasha said, “A day at the beach?”

Corey's OOC

And where were the spiders
Vacation always was nice. Marek basically lived vacation. The curse of his career path. Or was it actually a curse? Not really, he loved what he did. And the fact that a day of work really wasn't that hard. Sometimes there was the books to balance, but really? It was making sure everything worked well, and that he was good at. He always was, why as a young business owner he moved into a position of power in the Techno Union.

And finally the trip was upon them.

Wonderful tropical scene. He could get used to that. Probably should try to buy the moon. Granted he'd most likely take a loan out from [member="Sasha Santhe"]. “Beach is always the best.” Because Marek had lost his homeworld, and his favorite beaches, so he'd need to replace them.

And stare at Sasha.

Hot.

[member="Marek Starchaser"] didn’t know what hit him when he met Sasha at the beach later. “And?” she said doing a little twirl. Next to Bikini body in the dictionary would be a picture of Sasha Santhe. If Bikini body was in the dictionary. “I booked us a little cruise so we can go diving,” She said with a little smile pursed on her face. “The guides name is Pako.”

She walked over to the little cabana and procured two drinks returning to Marek with a smile on her face. She handed him a drink before gently falling into his body. “Have you ever been cave diving? There are all sorts of little air pockets where you can come up and be all alone….” Her free hand guided his around her as she settled into Mareks arms. “Far away from prying eyes.”

Corey's OOC

And where were the spiders
Yeah. Well this was happening. How long had the pair worked together? And now things were getting complicated. He was pretty okay with that. Yknow, as a puddle on the ground at her feet. He was fine with that. It was respect to her figure. Or something.

And diving. He hadn't done that since... well Corellia. "Pako, huh?"

He smirked as [member="Sasha Santhe"] brought him a drink. Good girl. "Used to go... Yknow. Crystal hunting for sabers." the worst formed sentence. But yeah. Sasha hot. He didn't find her directing his hand, however.

The boat wasn’t too terribly impressive. It was no luxury liner or massive yatch, but then again it didn’t have to be. The best meant fast, fast enough to avoid leviathans and fast enough to get you where you wanted to go safely. Pako was a character, tanned skin and dark eyes. He was handsome enough in a rugged sort of way. “So I take you to location now,” he said.

And they were off. The boat jutted forward the momentum forcing Sasha back into Mareks chest. She settled in there for the remainder of the trip.

It took about an hour before they reached the the little atoll. “These are the caves you’re looking for.” Pakp pointed to the edge. “I have rebreathers in the back.”

They were small little devices that only needed to fit over the mouth. They used to be standard kit for Jedi. “Lets go [member="Marek Starchaser"], I hear there is a nice cozy cave down there…”

Sasha sat on the edge of the boat and then leaned back plopping into the water. She didn’t wait long for Marek until she started toward the atoll’s cliff line.

Corey's OOC

And where were the spiders
The water was not a strange place for Marek. The boat they were on wasn't that great, but he knew better than to be worried about that. Not all boats were going to be high class yachts. Though that did give him a few ideas for expansion. On and undersea cruises, instead of just space. It'd be a niche market. But right now, he really wasn't thinking too deeply about work. Not when there was Pako staring at Sasha.

And a [member="Sasha Santhe"] to stare at.

Rebreathers, yep. That was something his father, or uncle, or something had shown him. Simple, for sneaking around in the water and what not. But again, his attention wasn't there.

Watching Sasha walk the length of the boat, he followed, grabbing another rebreather and following suit, diving head first into a deeper section of the water, before heading off to the atoll. The water was familiar, always was.

Sasha swan down ahead of [member="Marek Starchaser"] kicking her legs in a rhythmic motion. The water felt nice, cool on the skin after bathing in the sun on the trip by boat. The water was the clearest blue Sasha had seen. This provided great visibility as she approached the rocky cliff edge. The island poked out of the water and she was able to see where the hidden cave entrance was.

Approaching the underwater wall she pulled at a clump of seaweed revealing the entrance. Sasha pointed into the cave and beckoned Marek to follow a smile forming on her lips around the rebreather.

As she swam through the cave and then came out out of the water into the hidden grotto. The stone slabs that made up the floor was smoothed from centuries of erosion that came with tides. Some plants grew, pretty dark green things getting sunlight from a hole in the cave’s ceiling which light in light. “Well? Are you happy with the spot I found for us?”

Corey's OOC

And where were the spiders
The water was always one of the best places. Step into liquid and let the rest of the world fade away, or something like that. The sun always made the water seem so much more blue and that was not something he'd ever complain about. Not getting into Corellia's water, especially between the time that traitorous swine Cater blew up Fleetcom and when the planet split. He really hoped someone collected the bounty on the hat. Hell, he'd pay what the Pyre was paying for the man dead. But that was Marek. He also was hoping to talk Santhe into building a starship designed around a weed whacker.

But when he saw who he was playing catch-up with, all those thoughts faded away. Did that make Marek shallow or was he just lucky that [member="Sasha Santhe"] gave him attention? Hell, the girl could probably afford to purchase the Abrion Sector. Then he'd never hear the end of her.

Following her into the cave and seeing the light change, he nodded. Air was soon, and he kept swimming after her, knowing he could overtake her, but keeping right behind her. As he came up in the air and removed the rebreather, taking the area in, he grinned. “How long did it take to find this place?”

Sasha smiled at [member="Marek Starchaser"] and leaned in for a kiss. Her lips connected with his in a moment of passion. She recalled her head and stared at the man. “Four years,” Sasha said looking around. “I’ve been looking for this place for four years.”

And then she left the water walking up onto the sheet of rocks making the shore. She ignored Marek for a second examining the wall. “Right here, this is where it is.” Sasha felt the wall. “Can’t you feel it?”

Kicking at the wall Sasha smiled and started to rub her hands against the slate stone. “Right here,” she said pressing a patch. There was multiple clicks and suddenly the wall moved. “Behold the lost treasure vault of a particularly nasty Sith Treasure hunter and pirate…”
