Intent: A pretty dress for Lily.
Development Thread: N/A
Manufacturer: Kamperdine Clothing Specialists
Model: N/A
Affiliation: Lily Kuhn
Modularity: No
Production: Unique
Material:
  • Glistaweb
  • Shell Spider Silk
Classification: A Dress.
Weight: 1 kg
Quality:
  • Blaster: 7
  • Slashing/Piercing: 1
  • Other: 0
Special Features:
  • Glistaweb is a material which produces a neutral, charge-negating, field around its exterior that grants it the ability to reflect blaster bolts in much the same way Vonduun crab armor does, both being brought to the galaxy by the Yuuzhan Vong hundreds of years ago. Although this could theoretically protect the wearer of the dress from blasters and the like, there is a large gaping cleavage section of the dress which exposes some of the mid-riff and the entirety of the center of the wearer's chest. It also does not cover the entire body, so any shots to the head or center of the chest would be lethal to whomever is wearing it.
  • Shell spider silk is known to grant some resistance to vibroblades and sharp objects, but in this instance it was only used for the inside of the dress and only for comfort, providing nearly no extra protection for the wearer. It is a dress, after all.
Description:
A dress tailored to be just a little larger than form fitting for Lily Kuhn, this gown was made entirely and solely for special events. It was not created in any way to be used in battle, outside of parties, and so on. Tripping on a rock and getting the edge of the dress caught on a snag would likely rip this dress, providing plenty of reasons for why this would not be suitable for someone expecting to be fighting. A lightsaber would make quick work of both this dress and anyone inside, and though it might protect someone from blasters at the back, arms, and sides, there is a giant gaping exposed portion of the chest and mid-riff that leave plenty of vulnerable, compromising, weak spots.

All in all, it was made to look pretty, feel good, and remain comfortable. Nothing more.
