Servitude is simply a reality of the world.

Those who have power are eager to use it. They step upon those weaker than them. They devastate those who are ill-prepared to face them. Such was the reality that Lilith learned when she was just a child. For her, life was simple. Dathomir was all she knew and the Nightsisters were her family. Her lineage was nothing of the legendary sort, but within her veins was solid stock. By the standards of all, she was set to grow into a fine addition to the Clan. However, as the Galaxy re-emerged from the Plague, servants of the Darkness descended upon Dathomir.

Scouts, hailing from the reconstituted Sith Empire, launched a daring raid against the unsuspecting Witches. They seized as many valuables as they could: tomes, weapons, and especially children, before returning to the capital. Lilith was, unfortunately, one of the spoils of this raid. She was ripped from Dathomir and deposited on Dromund Kaas, where life began anew.

Rebellion was not the sort of thing that was rewarded within the Sith Empire. Although she tried her absolute best, escape was never an option. So, Lilith seemingly surrendered to the will of her "superiors". She suffered through their lessons, endured their abuses, and eventually completed their assignments. Cast in the mold of a Sith Assassin, the greatest gift the Sith Empire gave her was knowledge of survival. With patience, she awaited her chance at liberation: and it came sooner than she anticipated.

Ambitions flared, as they often did among Sith, and coup after coup was launched. As the title of Sith Emperor quickly changed hands, less attention was placed upon keeping Lilith in line. She used the frequent changes in power to her advantage and fled: but not before discovering the consequences of her "training". One of her lovely overseers had seen fit to leave her with a parting gift: the sort that arrived kicking and screaming nine months later. All of this inspired Lilith to hate the Sith. She hated them for taking her from Dathomir. She hated them for stealing her life. She hated them for all the Hell they put her through.

But despite all that hatred, she couldn't hate Cassia. The first place Lilith returned to was home, and there she was faced with a choice. She could have terminated the "gift" and moved on. She could have heeded the words of some of her kin. Yet for some reason, Cassia was allowed to live. And Lilith experienced love for the first time in decades. It was a glorious change of pace to return to the Old Ways, yet just as things seemed to be looking up, Cassia began to falter. Illness struck her vehemently and there was hardly anything that the Clan's magics or remedies could offer.

It seemed as though her child was destined to perish, but Lilith was stubborn. She knew of a place that could possibly use technology to accomplish what magic did not. Kamino was her destination. Lilith pleaded with the cloners there to put their experience to good use, and somehow received a positive response. They took Cassia into their care, but at the cost of an exorbitant fee. Lilith took this obstacle head-on and later found steady employment in the form of Personal Assistant. It was a leap to go from Assassin to glorified Secretary, but for Cassia it would be done.

Through this job, Lilith met [member="Isley Verd"]. He was a surprisingly generous soul, which was a stark contrast to the men of the Sith Empire. When she opened up about Cassia, he immediately offered to sponsor the ongoing treatments. However, the joy of this offer was sullied by news given by the cloners. While left in their care, the Akala Crisis had occurred. Cassia had disappeared, as had untold trillions in the Galaxy. This news broke Lilith. It tore her apart so much that she fled from it all.

Dathomir was her refuge, and there she returned.
