Strengths:
Fast - The Lightning class interceptor is an increadbly fast ship, making it difficult to hit.
Manuverable - The lightning class is somewhat more manuverable than the average starfighter. This helps make use of it's speed in dogfights.
Weaknesses:
EXPLOSHUN - The high amounts of energy required to power the Lightning class interceptor's weaponry and thrusters makes the engine an easy target. A few hits, and the lightning class explodes.
Limited sheilding - Although the Molecular sheilding in the Lightning class is powerful, it stays up for 20 seconds at most with a cooldown of 5-10 mins depending on the whether extra power is directed to it.
Description: The Lightning class interceptor is outfitted with molecular sheilding. This sheilding is powerfull, and can absord most energy weapons. However, other weaponry can get through. It also can only be put up for 20 seconds at a time before a 5-10 min cooldown.
The ship has room for one person, in s small, cramped cockpit. This is to reduce ship size and increase speed, as well as provide room for the powerfull engine.
