SPECIAL FEATURES

Strengths:
  • Meatcooker - The highly potent beam fired from the turret atop the Lightbeam tank can fry through thick armor like a hot knife through butter. Additionally, the beam is at such a high temperature that when fired in water, any enemy in a ten meter radius will find themselves in a giant boiling pot. Even on dry land, infantry are not spared from the Lightbeam's wrath either, as the beam causes a violent explosion when it impacts the ground or an obstacle.
  • All-Terrain (Ground Variant) - Having six legs, the Lightbeam has a very low center of gravity and can travel through the most rugged of terrain with ease. Also, all six legs have long, sharp claws that can pierce through most rocks to ascend vertical cliffs without much effort.
  • Manual Mode - Should extreme technical conditions occur, a manual takeover of the Lightbeam's systems can be initiated through a wirelss joystick.
Weaknesses:
  • Stick Limbs - While as much effort as possible was put into reinforcing the exposed legs of the Lightbeam, they are still vulnerable targets, with one or two impacts from an explosive weapon or a single shot from a tank capable of tearing one clean off. In fact, a beast of enough strength can simply tear through all six legs, incapacitating the Lightbeam and causing significant power drain.
  • Right Back At You - While an unlikely scenario, the beam of the EF-G eye laser turret equipped to the Lightbeam can be deflected by a shield of beskar or another material of high strength and durability, nullifying all damage. In fact, a parry launched directly back at the turret can cause enough damage to instantly destroy the Lightbeam.
  • Close Quarters - Being a splash affect weapon, the EF-G eye laser turret generally doesn't work well in close-range combat where friendly fire is very likely.
  • Droid - Being automated, the Lightbeam is susceptible to all faults of AI. Its movements can be predicted, and through jamming, its targeting systems can be altered to the point where the automated tank attacks anything that moves, regardless of allegiance. Additionally, the AI of the Lightbeam can be infiltrated and hacked to the will of another, becoming rogue from its own programming.
  • Electrified - While Lightbeams are heavily armored for a droid, they still have a critical vulnerability to ion weaponry. If an ion cannon is fired at the automated tank's turret as it is charging up to fire, the cycle will restart. Additionally, all it takes are a few ion weapons to disable a Lightbeam in seconds, rendering it immobile and inactive until it can be repaired.
  • Balancing Act (Air Variant) - While eye turrets generally have a minimal recoil, it is still tricky for an air variant of the Lightbeam tank to fire at an enemy with absolute accuracy. The spacing of the propellers far apart doesn't help, spreading the mass of the tank across a larger space and increasing sway.
DESCRIPTION

Shortly after an ancient model of the EF-G Eye Laser Turret was discovered in a planet deep in the Outer Rim, excavations found a much more intriguing discovery. Some of the turrets were equipped to unique, six-legged armored vehicles, to supposedly deadly effect.
With the success of the EF-G, Outer Rim engineers decided that the time had come to replicate the work of whatever ancient civilization had created the vehicles of war ORME uncovered. The process was surprisingly simple, with a replica base ready to fit an EF-G only weeks after the discovery of a full vehicle. It was determined that the resulting vehicle would remain automated, though it packs quite a punch regardless of its owners.

What kind of damage would an EMP/Ion weapon do to this?

Secondary, you mentioned limited ability of flight in the modifications, but never put it anywhere else in the sub?

Ion damage has been added to weaknesses.

Elaborated on the flight capabilities, but aside from what I listed in the quote above, it is intended to be very similar to the ground variant

If you'd remove mention of the AI throughout the sub.

Technically, a droid is an artificial intelligence, but here on the board, when we say AI, we're typically talking about a highly-advanced intelligence that can move around different platforms and/or has impressive powers. It's why "AI" is considered to be a restricted material.

A simple fix would be to replace "AI" with "droid brain" or something similar.
