Life to the fullest.

The shadow guard were ordered to go to Endor, a forest planet. It is the home of the Ewok species. Tiny little creatures using primitive weapons. The guards had done research on them and what their potential was. They figured it would be better to be discreet about their journey there and keep their presence hidden to avoid collateral damage. The group of three travelled through the forest, being weary of the bushes, waiting for something to happen. The forest was dense, but not nearly as dense as the one on Felucia. The trees were taller and more natural to the guard however.

Upon looking to the sky, occasionally, they would see bridges crossing from tree to tree, signifying that of the Ewok's home. They kept on moving. They were to observe the planet and see if it might make good for an outpost in the future. Remnants of old fortifications were still there, rusted and ultimately destroyed over the ages. Seeing everything at peace was a comforting sight as they were ultimately not in the mood for fighting against these creatures.

While moving through the forest, they happened to hear the Ewoks around them. They prepared for this. A furry little creature popped out of bush in front of them, pointing a spear at them, ordering them to follow it. ST-0001 gave the command to his fellow guard. They moved with the Ewok. Something was off however. There was only one Ewok. No crowding bunch or anything. When he did his research, it said they typically came in larger groups, so this had to be a rare occurrence.

They were taken to one of the dozens of huts up in the trees, where the Ewoks were roaming around, carrying on with daily life. When they got to the top, they seen a fire pit, and it was prepared to be lit. The guards knew they had to bail before they ended up as roast beef. Then they seen another type of creature being pulled out, which was set on the pit. This made the group curious as to why the Ewoks invited them to a feast of sorts. They didn't ask, and just went along with it.

The platform of which they stood on was made of individual two by fours, linked together by rope. Which seemed simple in itself, but in reality is more complicated because of them building it in the trees. How long did it take to build these structures, ST-0001 thought to himself. And how come they have not increased im technology at all? Even Tatooine had more technology than Endor, and Tatooine is nothing more than a desert planet. So how exactly did Endor have not nearly as advanced technology?

The guards shifted their attention towards the little creatures running and dancing around the fire. They thought that there might be two reasons why Endor had practically no technology. The first world be that the species might have an inferior brain in sciences and mathematics. And the second being that Endor is another remote planet that not many go to because it would be pointless precisely because of its lack resources.

The shadow guards looked at each other in confusion, as the Ewoks had given them some of the roasted creature. They watched as the small, brown furry creatures ate their shares of the roast before they took a bite. The Ewoks seemed friendly, not as hostile as they were portrayed from previous records. Maybe it depended on if it was the villages that determined if they were friendly, or if after years of exposure to the different races of people, no matter how small the number, that came by the planet to see what these Ewoks were like for themselves.

It was growing dark on the planet, and the shadow guards returned to their ships for the night.Something seemed off, like not all Sith records were entirely correct. Or it was just based off of one or two peoples experiences. Maybe if the Sith were to send more soldiers to Endor, without orders to kill, and see what there is. The planet had clear streams of water running through its forest, nice density for cover, yet not to hard to move through. And perhaps could ally with certain settlements.

By morning, the guards had woken and decided they would explore other parts of Endor. They took off in their ships, remaining above the tree line to avoid crashing. A bright sky made for a perfect view on this planet. As they flew over the trees, ST-0001 noticed that there was a practically ancient landing pad, plants covering almost everywhere on the pad. They landed their ships on it and got out. They felt that the force was strong here. There was a complex nearby, which was also covered by vines, moss, and trees covering over it.

ST-0001 gave the signal to explore the ruined complex. They all went inside exploring. Nothing was to be found. Any sign of technology there had either been destroyed or removed. Rodents and critters flourished in this type of place. ST-0001 had noticed that something seemed familiar. There was old painting on the wall, partially erased due to time, but still notable. It was the sign of the First Galactic Empire created during the last years of Bane's rule of two. Simple history, they all thought.

They searched the Imperial ruin in high spirits, hoping they could find any viable records or technology. However there was simply nothing. They went outside looking at the place. It all made sense as to why they felt the connection to the force here. They returned to their ships and flew back to their previous landing ground, wishing the friendly Ewoks there peace. After waiting for everyone else to get in their ships, ST-0002 looked over at the Ewoks. He told them that one day they would be back, keeping a slight smile on his face. Then he got in his ship and they left the atmosphere of the planet, hoping one day they might get reassigned there again one day.

The shadow guards entered their ships and took off. Looking at the planet as they left the atmosphere made it seem so beautiful. They had to go back to Coruscant, their commander's preferred hideaway when he wasn't busy elsewhere. So off they went through space, going as fast as they possibly could. Which they knew would take sometime. They activated auto pilot, giving them time to do whatever they might need to do. Which would be in this case, due to their discovery, read up on Imperial history.

After a considerable number of hours had passed, they seen what appeared a traders ship. The guards communicated with each other and decided they would see what they have. So ST-0001 sent the trader a message via hologram, asking if he may dock his ship and buy some select goods. When he linked his ship to the trader's, the trader insisted on them giving over their weapon. The guards used a hidden lock to prevent their saber pikes from activating for obvious reasons before handing it over.

They looked around the ship. It was all rusted out, and seemed to be on the point of completely falling apart. They got a few consumables for their ships and other accessories before giving the trader the credits he required and taking back their pikes. They put it underneath their cloak and left, departing their ships from the barge. As they continued their voyage across space. They went to sleep while waiting.

Finally after hours more had passed, they awoke to the sound of them halfway through the Coruscant atmosphere. They deactivated auto pilot and prepared the landing sequences. The ships landed in a general area around their resistance for the time being. They exited their ships and headed to their hideout and awaited further instructions.
