Life Has a Twisted Way...[Tobias Wraith]

Nima Tann

Master of Her Own Destiny
Waking up to another day, her first job was to check on the missions from the datapad, as she always was doing these days. Standing in temple, yes, her sister was around but she was still adapting to the Temple so she didn't want to keep her in company, she would probably be all awkward. And she needed time, so many happened to the poor girl, and she was a strong one indeed, Nima wouldn't collect herself in that situation that easily. Lost in thoughts once again, she continued scrolling through the data, in order to find a good exercise for the morning. One in Nar Shaddaa looked pretty easy, get the datapad of a crime lord which contains some data about slave auctions in Nar Shaddaa, and get out without no one noticing. Seemed pretty easy, at least.

After getting done with everything in her house she moved towards the exit, to the hangars of Voss, to catch a shuttle going to her destination. She always liked going solo, since she was always a danger to the people she was teaming up with in her earlier times. Now she had only herself to hurt, and that was okay. Hours have passed, well, it might be minutes too, she already lost the track of time, and she was finally in Nar Shaddaa. Being stealthy in here was pretty easy, since everywhere was Twi'lek, but also dangerous, always had time for being careful. Slavery, uck... That was the way of people who can't get someone to love themselves. That was what she was thinking.

The rooftops were the place to go if she wanted a silent approach, but first she needed the elevator codes of the building just at the opposite. To her horror, it was a night club. Entering to club, the loud voices of music have filled her ears, disgusted of the sights she was seeing, she tried to act casual, her robes hiding that she was a Twi'lek, one could say that her aura was screaming "I am a Jedi." Acting 'casual', how casual that it could be, she arrived to the offices without getting caught. "Okay, let's do this." Talking to herself while hacking the terminal, she was pretty terrified. Finally entering to the terminal, she started to search for the data for elevator codes.

Welcome. How can I help you today?
file_open("securityCodes/elevator");
DATA LOADING...
----------------------------------------------------
ELEVATOR CODE: 132543
----------------------------------------------------
Just as she was escaping the room, another beep came from the terminal, catching her attention.
One new message. Open the message?
showMessage();
-------------------------
Don't forget to take care of our "guests" in the basement, they are [UNRECOGNIZEABLE WORDS]. And don't forget to bring them alive and well to [codeD MESSAGE]. Going to send one of my agents to check up on them. Ask "How's your night?" and she'll tell you that the skies are red and not calm anymore. Don't let anyone else enter and shoot them in sight.
Your Boss.

She copied the data to her datapad, it was too important to let it slip by.Now her priorities were changing, nothing was indeed more important than people trapped in here. Escaping the room quickly but quietly, she was again in the main halls, there were guards in the way and she knew the password, making it easy to pass them without violence, she descended through the stairs and at last she arrived at the ... cages? They were putting them inside cages? Like wild animals... One of the slaves looked at the girl with desperate eyes. "Don't worry, here to let you out." She reassured the slave, she looked so dirty. How could they treat her like that. "No... they'll see... They'll beat us." The slave girl answered. Her eyes were fixed in one way. "No escape... No escape... Run away. Don't let." She continued repeating. "Calm down. You are going to alert the guards. I am here to save you."

She continued, continued and continued screaming. Poor soul, she didn't even want a chance to escape from the prison she didn't even know how many years she has been. She raised her hand, trusted the Force and slowly entered woman's mind, calming her with the Force because persuasion with her wasn't an option. The slave girl raised her hands slowly, showing behind her, before she reacted and turned away, she felt pain at the back of her head, and then black screen followed afterwards, she was hit by one of the guards, that probably heard the girl's screams and... she stopped thinking afterwards.

Opening her eyes finally... yes, she was in a cage. Why did she think like a Jedi, she could have already gone, completing the mission. She immediately checked her equipment, her saber was nowhere to be found... She started to panic, she had to escape here. Maybe they couldn't find... yes, to her luck they couldn't find her holocommunicator, her hands were shaking from panic and what just happened here, and the pain in her head wasn't helping either. "My fault... It's my fault. Sorry." The slave girl talked, sobbing and trying to reach her. "We will both escape here, don't worry." She reassured her again, partly accepting that it was her fault. And she turned her communicator on, talked quietly afterwards. "This is Master Tann, anyone there? I need some help. Fast, if possible." Fast, else her Jedi career would end soon.
